These are perfect for hanging lights on vinyl siding. One side of my backyard is a bit dark and I didn't want to drill into the siding to install any lighting. This hooks worked perfectly to hang a few strings of lights to illuminate the area. Gave the extras to my mom and she is excited to do the same. Easy to use. Installed without tools and little fuss. In some spots they were a bit loose but I think that has more to do with the siding than the hooks. The hooks feel sturdy and strong and seem hard to bend. They are fairly nice looking for hooks. Shiny. We will see soon how they hold up in the crazy maryland weather. I've been wanting to hang decorative things outside around my home deck but hadn't because I thought I'd have to put nails in the siding. The clips appeared to me to be very light wall gauge and I didn't think they could possibly work for my application. But are easy to install and using 2 of them I could hang heavier items and they worked perfectly. There is a little learning curve how to and where to push the clip under the the siding but know it's not that difficult. I give this clip my seal of approval! :) ... show more
