I ordered this mirror in the gold version, and unfortunately there weren’t many reviews for that option. The couple that I read were positive, but no mention of tone. The actual tone of this gold is very orangey. When I first opened the mirror I was concerned I received the wrong one. I held up every piece of brushed gold decor in my home and it didn’t match a single one. It is almost copper in appearance, which is a bummer because I was hoping for a standard brushed gold (yellow undertones). And before you start thinking, “oh, I bet this would be a match for my delta champagne bronze fixtures”… nope. Too orange, sorry folks. The pros are that I purchased this item used (but in like new condition) and that was accurately described. It seems like it will be very easy to hang, and although it is thin it seems very heavy/durable. I saved money on the used version so I’ll take some rub ‘n buff to it to try and soften up the color a bit, but I would have been peeved about the color if I paid full price. ... show more

Hope this helps others since the paper instructions are lacking this information. However, I do applaud the template provided to assist with the hanging process. I haven't actually placed the mirror yet due to order of bathroom renovation.. My husband couldn't figure out how to hang the anchors originally because he was just following what the picture looked like re: attachment of the anchors. He drilled small size holes that would fit the screws but not the anchors since the picture doesn't show that these anchor "wings" need to be folded together and then pushed into the holes. I am guessing most people can figure this out on their own but thought to share. My husband became defensive at the time and said we just have to hire someone to place the mirror so I didn't press the issue. I went back over the instructions last night and realized what he hadn't, that the anchors have to be folded and pushed inside so the drill hole must be much much larger to make it work.. The seller was great when I reached out to ask re: drill bit size and I got a response almost immediately which I REALLY appreciate.. :) ... show more

The mirror looks good with a small black frame. The template provided was helpful. I ended up replacing all the anchors because those provided left the mirror unstable and lose.

Somehow the mirror already has a crack in it after we put it up. It didn’t have any cracks during shipping or during the set up process but now that it has been sitting up, somehow it had a massive crack.

We love this mirror. It is quite heavy, but it looks awesome. The template made things so easy to install. However, I personally hated the hardware that was included, so I ended up buying heavy duty toggle bolts that worked much better. I would highly recommend this mirror. Just do yourself a favor and buy better hardware for the installation. ... show more
