We already had a 3-step version of this ladder but were still using a standard folding wood ladder to change lightbulbs, and we realized that at age 78 we no longer feel safe on that one. This ladder is perfect for our needs. The steps are large for secure footing, and the tool platform holds just about anything that might be needed, eliminating the need to go up and down to get things. It did take sometime to arrive but since it is Christmas time it all worked out. This is a great quality product. Very sturdy and extremely easy to add the top bar when assembling, Not light weight but not heavy, a very firm feeling, which is what you want when standing on the ladder. This will also be great for around the house projects and for my outside humming bird feeders. A easy place at the top to lay any supplies you would need for your project. I live the large slip resistant steps!! It is not to heavy for me to carry from room to room, it appears to be well built, the hinges, are easy to open, and the plastic angled feet will provide a more slip resistant secure climbing experience. I did not get the tallest ladder as I’m afraid of heights, and anything I can’t reach that’s higher than this ladder is will have to be done by someone else. I think it will be safe and I’ll be able to really clean to a height I can reach. First job will be the TV screen which has been too high for me until now. You don’t realize you need a ladder until you have one lol I’m 4’10 and let’s just say I don’t feel short anymore. Good height, sturdy, pretty color and the top shelf holds your tools and whatever else so super functional. Minimal assembly the top handle just clips in place. Great buy 🙂
