  • SIZE TIP: Skate boots are not like your average shoe. For maximum control, your boots need to fit like a second skin. That is why Bont boot sizing is NOT the same as your US shoe size or other skate brand sizing. Please refer to the chart for the approximate size conversion of foot length in mm to Bont size.
  • UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE - A heat-moldable lightweight quad boot with all the modern advancements in boot technology such as the use of fiberglass, heat-moldable resins, and new layup techniques.
  • 100% VEGAN - Racer roller skate features a microfiber outer skin, microfiber liner and a fiberglass base.
  • SUPER HEAT MOLDABLE - The thermoplastic in the heel allows you to mold your boot with a hairdryer to obtain a custom fit in under 10 minutes. This is especially good for skaters with skinny or wide ankles.
  • NO TOE STOP PLATE - Tracer NTS speed roller skating plate is crafted from extruded 6061 aircraft aluminum with cast trucks and hangers to make this plate strong and affordable. The 7-degree kingpin angle keeps you stable at high speeds. The 63x42mm Blue 96A Evolve Speed Skating wheel is made with premium high rebounding urethane with high precision ABEC5 bearings.

  • Love
Highly recommend! I’m a 8 men’s/9 women’s, I ordered a 6 in these.

  • Bont Is Sure 🔥🔥🔥
These gems were a hit for me. This is my 2nd pair of Bonts and I am in love with them, they are stylish and comfortable. The break-in process was easy, and this time I went up a 1/2 size from 6.0 to 6.5 (my shoe size is 9), and that did the trick.

  • Second skin, light weight, easily heat moldable, great quality
Color: black Size: 5/37
Bont sizing is weird, but accurate. Measure your feet to the millimeter and follow their chart. I wear men's 9.5 usually. Ordered these in Bont 7. I have 1/8-1/4" of room before my toes touch. Pretty light weight with the aluminum skate plates. I hit these with a blow dryer for a minute and they loosened up in all the right places right away. Feels like I've been skating in them for years after a little heat. Never skated with step 7 degree king pins before, but excited to try them out tomorrow. Should be really stable at speed. ... show more

  • Generally good setup, but room for upgrades
The Bont Speed Skates are a good quality pair of quad speed skates. The materials are good for a mid range quad skate but you might want some upgrades if you're really into speed or agility. It is great generic skate for hobbyists, but not as great as something custom designed for yourself. I will be comparing it to my Riedell skates which I have been using for almost a decade and cost $400. First, the boot. It is made of a "vegan" leather with microfiber. The vegan leather isn't as flexible and soft as my Riedell genuine leather boots, but I assume it can be somewhat broken in after some use. However, initially it will be sharp and digs into your ankles so wear some padded or polyester socks (not cotton or you'll get blisters). The heel fit fine for me from the get go but it seems you can heat mold these to have a better fit. The shoe sizing is accurate if you're familiar with quad skates. Another review suggested the sizing was too small, so I got a half size up from my normal skates which wasn't a major difference and erred on the side of caution. I got a size 6.5 Bont, while I normally wear size 6 Riedell and US Men's size 9 sneakers. The 6.5 Bont fits slightly loose with a small amount of toe room, but that is only in relation to my Riedell's which are practically skin tight with compression on the toes. Both 6 and 6.5 are fine for me as socks can take care of the space. One thing I don't particularly like is how the tongue is velcroed, which makes it sit a little oddly when the laces are cinched tight. Next, the plates and axles. The Bont plate is solid metal but decently light weight. It adds a solid backbone to your skates for that extra oomph when pushing off, but there is less give for side to side motions and rely solely on the axle for that. Therefore, I suggest getting softer wheels (under 90A) too for a better time unless you like it harder. Overall, the carriage of the skates is a stiffer body meant for greater push off. Onto the wheels. The wheels spin ok but aren't super smooth at first. At most they spin a few seconds when spun with a flick of the wrist, and some only for a second or two before friction stops them. The performance is not very even, and each wheel seems to consistently stick to their spin times (the stickier wheels stop quickly every time). In comparison, my Atomic Poison wheels can spin several times longer. This can be fixed by adjusting the tightness of the nuts a bit, but I just switched out the wheels completely to a softer urethane with ABEC 9 bearings. As I mentioned, the 96A wheels with ABEC 5 bearings do not fit my preferences as they are too slippery on most surfaces and don't have a good grip. I personally use 84 and 86A wheels. Other things to note are there is obviously no toe stop or toe guard. You'll have to know how to stop without the toe stops, especially after going at high speeds. It is also recommended to get a toe guard to prevent wear for these synthetic shoes, which may not be as durable as leather. In general, this is about what I expected for a $200 pair of skates. It is ok for the hobbyist but isn't built completely ready for competition. If you're into dance skating, the lack of a toe stop is also helpful for the front wheel moves, but the lack of a taller boot collar may be less comfortable. ... show more

  • The BEST Speed Skates
Color: white Size: 5.5/37.5
This is my 3rd pair of speed-style skates and I’m very pleased with them. First time trying the BONT brand and was impressed by the quality. These Racer roller skates features a microfiber outer skin, microfiber liner and a fiberglass base which makes them perfect for speed skating or derby skating. Love that they’re 100% vegan also Sizing was a little tricky at first, however I used the size chart on the BONT site and was easily able to measure and determine my size, you want these quad boot skates to fit like a glove, so it’s important to get the correct sizing, as these aren’t sized like a normal pair of sneakers. What I love most is BONT carries a wide variety of beautifully designed wheels that are easily able to change in-out on your skates customizing the look you want, I’ve already ordered several different colors thus far and plan to order more. So very happy with my new skates! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... show more

  • Fun! Work great!
Came with laces and have Velcro to keep the tongue from sliding.

  • Quality skates, think about the ankles
These Bont skates are built like tanks! They are solid and well constructed. The wheels spin freely and smoothly. They lace all the way to the toe. There is a patch of heavy duty velcro as well as the traditional lace through loop on the tongue to keep it in place. The design of these as low tops versus high boots is different from what I've worn before, giving more freedom to ankle movements. However, while the smooth padded fabric of the heel feels fine, the outer material on the collar/cuff of the shoes is staight cut, excessively stiff, and digs into my ankles quite a bit. There is no padding or piping around collar sides, just the heel. During break-in, it is painful. I am hoping that with wearing thicker socks and with breaking them in that this won't be an issue for long, but wondering if I should have opted for the taller boot. Also, I referred to several resources on sizing before purchasing these boots, including the Bont website, and they seem just about the right size for me. I typically wear 9 in women's shoes and ordered the 7.5/EU 40. When I remove the insole from the boot and stand on it, the width is perfect, and I have about 1/4" left past the toe- just enough toe wiggle room. The Bont size chart is accurate. ... show more
