The media could not be loaded. This is the coolest thing I’ve purchased in a while. I was so excited I wanted to do a video review! This is a GREAT tool for bullet proof coffee (grass fed butter, mct/coconut oil and coffee) I thought I had to buy an immersion blender-that would have crazy. But then I saw someone mixing their coffee with this frother on Instagram and I immediately realized this is what I was looking for!!! It makes that frothy top that a blender does with no mess and way less clean up. And if you are a mom like me and reheat your drink 1,000 times a day then it makes for a quick and easy stir again!! It is very powerful for being battery operated and it COMES with batteries, which is good because I was about to have to hijack batteries from a toy! Best product for the money!     • Much better than the IKEA version
I had an IKEA version of this that I got on a whim. The price was cheap, and I had low expectations. Eventually, the IKEA one stopped working entirely, so I ordered this one. This version is hands-down superior in every way. It's twice the price, but I would say that it is more than twice as good for the following reasons: - The side-loaded battery compartment is easy and makes good contact. The IKEA version is rear loaded, the battery door fell off, and the electrical connection was poor. - The whisk shaft is stiffer, which prevents the whisk from fluttering unless the batteries are low. - This model has lower friction, somehow, and this lets the batteries last longer while putting more energy into work. - The parts used to build this are superior, and it is more reliable. This doesn't seem like a big deal, other than a good reason for it to cost more, but I no longer have the feeling of concern "will it work?" when I go to use it. - Since the batteries are easy to swap out, I no longer have the stress of trying to get the most out of them before swapping for fresh batteries. I use rechargeables, so I don't have to drain every electron to 'get my monie's worth' before swapping. - I just swapped batteries for the first time since buying it. It's been 2 months, but I use this thing 4-10 times per day. Granted, my rechargables have more capacity than one-time-use alkalines, but the easy battery tray does set this mixer above its competition. My primary use for this mixer is to combine instant coffee and powdered milk (or heavy cream depending on if I'm on a diet), into a very well mixed and foamy coffee. The result is so much better than using a spoon. Sometimes I add coconut oil, and this will easily emulsify it. ... show more

Loved how well this worked at first! Lots of power and was just what I was looking for. Started to lose power after several months, even with new batteries. Stopped working maybe 5-6 months after I got it.

I am pleasantly surprised with this Bonsenkitchen Milk Frother after having went with the consumer friendly pricing option. I use this to primarily mix my protein drink powders and the results are certainly better than a shake bottle or a manually stirred spoon. The operation is a manually held "On" button in my usage, so the automatic setting is not apparent. This item does the job at an affordable price and I believe one would not be disappointed for what it is. It only takes a minute to do the job and it does come packaged with your first set of AA batteries. Cleanup is pleasantly a simple rinse in soapy water as nothing I mix sticks. ... show more

Somehow, frothed coffee just tastes better than nonfrothed. This little whipper does the job every single morning. I blend powdered collagen into my coffee and it never leaves a lump undesolved. Even when I am just making coffee for a guest, I use it to froth the creamer before pouring in the coffee...it does a great job. Bought one for myself for Hot Cocoa and it does a great job. Also works well mixing my protein powder drink. Only problem is getting my kids to leave it alone. We ended up buying 10 more and giving them out with hot cocoa as Christmas gifts.

    • This Milk Frother is easy and fun to use
This Milk Frother is easy to use and easy to clean. I'm having fun making cappuccinos and lattes. I've also used it to froth milk for my morning coffee. To clean I fill a cup with water and some dish soap and froth just like you'd do for the milk. Rinse and put in dish drainer. There is definitly a small learning curve if you've never used a milk frother. The first time I didn't use a deep enough container to hold the half & half so when I turned on the frother the half & half went everywhere. The second time I used less half & half (a little goes a long way), but over heated it. Over heated milk or half & half won't froth correctly. The third time I put about an eighth of a cup of milk in a very large coffee mug and heated for 20 seconds in a 1000 watt microwave and then tried frothing and it worked perfectly and tripled in volume. The half & half came out of a fridge set at 34 degrees. The last time I used the frother I extended the time and it got very thick verging on whipped cream territory. ... show more
