Marmalade frequently contains too much "orange peel bitterness" for my taste. There was some of it in this one, but it was a lot smoother and sweeter than I had anticipated. I ordered the Sicilian Organic Marmalade | Made With Fresh Fruit | Less Sodium | Gluten Free | Cultivated Exclusively in Sicily, 12.4 oz (Orange) We never had marmalade before, so we thought we’d order it and give it a try. I will say it is a little bit different than what we were expecting. We’ve not had it before I don’t know if I can say if it’s normal or traditional for marmalade. I can say that while we didn’t love this on toast or biscuits by itself Because of the flavor and texture. It wasn’t awful. It’s just not what we wanted. The flavor just wasn’t what we were used to with our traditional jams and preserves that we normally use. However, we did try this for cooking some orange chicken and used a few big spoonfuls for that and it was delicious. So while it may not have been great on its own for us and not quite as sweet as we had wanted, the tartness, tang, and texture went well with the chicken. It was an OK product, but I don’t think it was for us. I don’t know if we will be ordering it again. I don’t know if it’s because of the brand itself or if it’s just because we aren’t fans of marmalade in general. ... show more
