    • It's Okay
First, and probably most important is, I still cannot access my entire back with this device. It's probably on me for getting older and less limber but it is advertised as assisting with back application. The first use went very smoothly despite my reach problems. I waited a little over a week to use it again and while cleaning the pad, I noticed the material separating from the pad. Granted, it includes two replacement pads, but if you have to replace them after two uses, I sure can't see this endeavor lasting very long. (And yes, I thoroughly cleaned and rinsed the pad after the first use and air-dried as recommended). The overall design is very good and seems sturdy. I was super excited to get this as I am an avid sunless tan user! It was okay, I used the black applicator size and while I was soft like a typical mitt, I couldn’t quite get every spot on my back. It seemed like the middle on my spine wasn’t as easy to cover, it also deposited a lot of product.

    • Totally ineffective
I had such high hopes for this product but it majorly disappointed First, it’s soooooooo much smaller than expected. Considering its intended use is for the back, they made it incredibly small. I’ve used a velvet band style for my back but just felt like sometimes it was missing certain areas. I got this hoping it would get hard to reach places but it sucks! The velvet side isn’t thick enough, it’s almost flush with the plastic handle, so the plastic edge scrapes you while you’re trying to rub in the tan. This leaves visible marks that are scratching off the tan. So I tried the use the sponge side which was better in theory because the plastic wasn’t scratching me but the sponge applicator is so small that it would take all night to do your back with it and it doesn’t rub the tan in. All in all, this is such a waste. Great idea, horrible execution. Don’t waste your money on it like I did 0/10 ... show more

The attempt is there it's just not the best at covering the hard to reach area that you can't see. This isn't wide enough Spong wise.
