Perfect bedside for elderly or person with limited mobility to turn it on themselves in the middle of the night. It works every time so it's a great value. Not very attractive but as far as touch lamps go I ordered a few and this one is the easiest to use the base is large and you can touch the base anywhere and it turns on and off. Its very stable too won't fall easily or knock over. Other lamps have a small section you have to touch or too complicated like holding down for a couple seconds to turn off and tapping to change colors. Too complicated for elderly. I am so pleased with this lamp. I needed a little lamp for the top of my nightstand and it had to be able to fit on a narrow shelf. This lamp fits perfect and it has a touch base, it’s a 3-way that adjusts to 3 different brightness. The front of this lamp is stamped with the maximum bulb to use. Otherwise I was able to find replacement bulbs for (I like to be prepared) it and it is relatively inexpensive and works well thus far. This is an adorable little lamp with a glass shade. So many are cheap plastic these days, and I think that for the price this glass one is a great deal. The touch feature works just as it should and even at the brightest setting, the glass shade diffuses the light so that it isn't harsh on my eyes when looking directly at it.
