I purchased this light to serve as a night light in the kitchen. It was the perfect purchase for its purpose and the decor of my kitchen. At about nine inches tall, it is not obtrusive and tucks nicely into a corner with some other decorative items. It has three brightness levels and the touch function makes it easy to use, It was also very easy to assemble and comes with a light bulb. Thus little lamp is well made and it puts off quite a bit of light when on high. When it is on low the ambient light is warm and pleasing. I like the touch feature. I our hard two for our cabin nightstands. The only reason I didn’t give a five star rating is because when it’s on low and you want to turn it off, you have to tap it twice and cycle through the two higher settings to get to off. When I’m next to my hubby and he’s trying to sleep, I wish I could go from the lowest setting directly to off. But this isn’t a deal breaker. I like the light. ... show more

Got this for a smallish bathroom actually, as the wiring behind the main lighting fixture needs repair. Worked well out of box once assembled. Instructions and special tool provided, which made it a breeze to assemble and actually kind of fun/unique. As for the light/dimmer: there are three light levels, with each tap of the base. The dimmest light level is good for nighttime bathroom runs, as it won't wake you all the way up. Medium level is bright enough to see things in the room easily, but not to do things like get ready for work effectively (shaving, combing hair, etc). The brightest level is bright enough to see well enough in a small room to do things like shave. In case you are wondering, yes it works well with an extension cord. The cord it comes with is fine (maybe 5 ft?), but I needed to pair it with a 20' extension cable to run the cord below the sink and toilet, up the backside of a cabinet and to the top of the cabinet where the lamp sits currently. Very cool lamp, with a warm light output. Calming as it's not overly bright at highest level. Highly recommended. ... show more

Well made elegant touch lamp. 3 light settings. (low) has a low soft warm luminescent, could be used as a night light or soft lighting to a room that needs a little light warmth. (High) will give fairly strong light to a medium sized room.
