These shelves are extremely easy to put together. Half an hour max from the time they're unpacked to the time they're up against your walls, provided you have a helper. They look nice, too. Nicer than you would expect for the time that it takes to put it together. I use these to display my Nendoroids, Funko POPs, Lego kits, and other figures. The top shelves are thinner than the other shelves, but you can easily stack two standard-sized boxed POPs in front of one another on *any* shelf; five POPs can fit neatly (almost perfectly) across the length of these shelves. With risers, I can fit ten (five in the front, five in the back). Boxed Nendoroids also fit perfectly on these shelves; depending on the size of the boxes, I can fit 3-4 along the length of one of the shelves without much excess space on either side. These are stellar for displaying your collections! As I wrap up this review, I want to emphasize this: I absolutely hate building furniture. I will keep furniture in boxes for months just because I dread the act of putting it together that much. But these were so easy to put together that I've bought four of these shelves so far and I'm likely to buy three more by the end of next year. I was looking for a stylish shelving unit that was also heavy duty and could hold some weight......literally. We needed a piece for our home gym and this is perfect! I wanted the option of being able to put weights or medicine balls on it and not worry about sagging, etc. So far so good! Worth every penny! Took me about 45 minutes to put it together (was in no rush). Shelf is very sturdy & balanced on its own, though it does include optional wall mount brackets if you want to secure it to the wall. The shelves are strong and can definitely hold their weight. Each slat is supported with a metal bar that runs under it and connects to the frame for extra support. Appearance wise, it fits the description perfectly. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Looks great. Very well thought out. Holds what seems like a ton of my stuff. Way more than I imagined with room to spare. Assembly was a breeze and the numbered packets with exact quantity fasteners/etc. needed for each step was such a refreshing idea. The included extras in a separate bag. I was worried with mail order furniture that this shelf would be in a lot of different pieces that needed to be screwed together. Thankfully, the two sides are one piece. You just need to join them with the shelf braces, the shelves and the back braces. I followed the instructions to a tee. Assembly was straightforward and accomplished in about 20 minutes. Looks great and is fairly solid. Although the metal is thin, the tubular construction makes them relatively solid overall. I did NOT screw anything too tight and did final tightening with my powered screwdriver with the torque set very low. The texture of the engineered wood shelves look very good and definitely is a step up from the usual laminate. I am considering buying another and putting them side by side. Took a little time to put together, but was easily doable for one person. Once up and loaded down, it's very stable and looks good in the room. When I filled the first one up, I didn't hesitate to come back and buy a second. Especially for the cost, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Metal frames and under-shelf supports provide a sturdy display system for your home or office. I looked at so many shelving units before deciding on this, I lost count. The shelves are laminated textured vinyl (or similar) and have a weathered grey appearance. So far everything appears it will hold up well.
