I only purchased this jacket because the movie theater actually asked to check my wife's purse for food and drinks. I was pissed. We are in our mid-50s. My way to get even was not to go to the competition but instead buy us the Movie Pass (one per day at $10 a month) and this jacket to sneak in as much food as it will hold. A 12 inch sub, 2 cans of coke and some candy. To my surprise this jacket is very nice. Not some thin crap like that vest plus cheaper. It really is nice and classy per my wife.     • what you really need to know;
First, pay attention to the amazon sizing chart. Not the one in the pictures. I know the parts about the "Asian Sizing" in the description. I ended up ordering a medium, because i'm small. Then had to return it for a small, and the small fits like other small sized things fit. Second, the pillow is a blow up pillow. There's one port, and it's like a 2-inch diameter plastic port. So, it's like blowing into a PVC pipe... literally. The good news is it actually only takes 2 deep breaths to fully inflate. And it's really comfortable... really. You can pop the port and hug it, to deflate it in literally one second. It also does fit "inside" the hood, for quick storage. You have to make sure you put it in there properly, or the hood won't pull all the way over your head. duh, you just stuffed a pillow into it. Flatten it out well, and the hood fits fine. Make sure you pack the plastic port out toward the edge of the hood, or it will hit you in the back of the head. All the pockets, and built-in microfiber cloth, and gloves, and eye-mask, and whatever else... is great. It's built-in, it's comfortable. The jacket itself is a GOOD windbreaker. If you buy it for your normal size, it fits well, and it still has room inside to wear a hoodie underneath. So all your normal-wear should fit, and you can layer up in this jacket, if you need to. The second jacket i ordered, didn't come with the stylus on the zipper. But the first one did. I played with the stylus before i returned it, and it... works like a stylus. It'll likely be helpful if you're wearing full gloves, and reeeeeally don't want to take them off. It's also a 3rd of the size of a normal pen, but is big enough to be dangly-jangly from the zipper while you walk around. It kind of annoyed me, if i'm being honest; And my devices require a fingerprint to access, so i'll have to take off a glove anyway. I didn't get a stylus with the second jacket, and i'm not mad about that. Given that the *other* jacket that has all this stuff built into it, is like $250... This thing is a steal. I don't own one of the other expensive ones, but i don't know that i want to; given what sort of adventuring i plan on putting this jacket through. It is a travel jacket, afterall. Why not 5-stars? The tablet pocket can't fit my Pixel Slate. ... show more

The jacket is medium weight and is made from a windbreaker-like material but doesn't chafe the skin. The zippers and buttons are all high quality are not difficult to deal with. The jacket has built in gloves you can just sleeve down if you don't want to wear them. The hood comes off it you don"t like the look. I just put mine in a pocket so I don"t loose it. There is also a blow up travel pillow that comes with this jacket. Pay attention to the sizing chart. I'm 6'1" and 215 lbs and an XL fits me well. The coat fits like a Hollister brand XL would. If you where 20 lbs lighter I'd go with a large. The coat has a very nice cut. ... show more

    • Love the pockets but fit needs work
TLDR: handy pockets, Asian sizing. So it fits perfectly in arms, chest and shoulders, but sadly not at the hips or waist. I ordered the large. I'm 38 38 44 so I couldn't zip it up easily on my chunky frame, particularly when the hidden tablet pocket was in use. The zipper also split the first use but I did manage to fix it. PROS: pockets omg POCKETS! They were so handy traveling as I didn't need a purse or belt pouch and it kept things easy to get at and hidden. Having a set easy to get to pocket for boarding passes and passport that was totally hidden in the zipper was great. Carbiner clips, the attached stylus and glasses cleaner wipes were also very handy. I was able to go out and about with just the jacket instead of my purse, or bugout bag which made things much more comfortable for me. Its decently wind and water resistant and the thumb partial hand covers worked well. The added U pillow really came in handy but I didn't attach it to the collar tho I may in the future. It also looked pretty sharp: not too masculine but not too femme either. As it's simple and black, its easy to put patches or reflective tape on since you can put your hand in it to sew thanks to all the pockets. CON: the zipper is plastic and split the first time I used it, which I fixed. I may replace the zipper with a metal one in the future. Also it was too tight a fit around the waist to zip up without 'sucking it in' as I'm a chubbster. I was wearing it over a heavy-duty hoodie so that wasn't a deal breaker but disappointing as it was supposed to be a "mens" large and it fit my shoulders exactly and typically mens don't. Clearly Asian sizing! Only available in black, which was ok (I'll be putting patches on it) but other colors such as a grey, army drab or brown would be nice as not everybody wants to wear black. As I do a lot of travel in dim lighting and walking at night, not having an option for a lighter color just means I have to get creative. Nothing a strip of reflective fabric can't fix. If I could be use the XL would fit my husband I'd get him one too but with how small the large was it's pretty doubtful. ... show more
