I've been using Boka Fluoride-Free Toothpaste in the Ela Mint flavor for about three months now, and I'm really happy with it. My teeth and mouth feel incredibly fresh and clean after each use. What I've really noticed is how smooth my teeth feel all day long – that clean feeling lasts much longer than with other toothpastes I've tried. I'm someone who prefers to avoid added fluoride in my toothpaste. I get enough fluoride through my drinking water, and I don't feel the need for extra. (Of course, if they ever remove fluoride from our water supply, I'll be switching back to a fluoride toothpaste in a heartbeat – I do believe it has benefits!) The Ela Mint flavor is exactly what you'd expect from a mint toothpaste – refreshing, but not overly "spicy" or intense. It just tastes clean and pleasant. So far, so good with Boka! I'm not really a fan of the flavor while I'm brushing but the after taste is much more pleasant. Not sure if it's actually helping. I've been using it for over a month now and there has been no significant change to the sensitivity of my teeth or the overall appearance. So maybe the whitening isn't working? Not sure. It does have better ingredients and it does make my mouth feel clean. I'll keep using it until the tube is gone then maybe try a new flavor. Overall it's a good value I think. ... show more

I've been using this for several years now. It's worth the money because you only need a pea sized bit of it. My gums and teeth have stayed healthier. The key thing to remember is NOT to rinse it off. Easy for me because I like the taste better than those minty toothpastes

This toothpaste literally made my daughter so happy. Her teeth are whiter and cleaner than before. And since it doesn’t have any fluoride she isn’t as sensitive and she can drink water or eat right after brushing her teeth as she stopped coughing up the other toothpaste. She says that the taste doesn’t last which is good and that the taste isn’t so strong it’s not overpowering her senses. I have been using this toothpaste for a little over a month now. I like that there is no fluoride in this toothpaste and that is why I tried it. It has a pleasant taste and is not overpowering. It doesn't have a strange taste that some of my other more natural no-fluoride toothpastes have. The consistency is a little different than traditional toothpaste. It is very smooth and a little thinner, but it will stay on the toothbrush. The mint flavor is not so strong that it is overwhelming, which I prefer. I don't like that blast of mint that makes everything taste funny afterwards. The flavor seems to dissipate pretty quickly. You can brush your teeth and then have a drink of something about 5 minutes later with no aftertaste. I can't really speak for the part about re-mineralizing your teeth. I have been known to have sensitive teeth at times. I have not had sensitive teeth during this last month while using this toothpaste that I sometimes get when I use strong whitening toothpaste. I like using this toothpaste. I would say to try it if you are not looking for a minty blast type of toothpaste and you want to stay away from fluoride. ... show more
