I was a bit skeptical at first, ordered it as an alternative to the gym during the pandemic. Easy to set up, easy to use, super versatile. Comes with everything you need to get started, plus a booklet that shows you some workouts you can do, as well as a sample workout plan. The only issue I could see you having is the bands not being enough resistance. But simply order some more bands. I'm not a huge fan of the sleeved bands, they kind of catch on the loops. But I'll be ordering eavier unsleeved bands with clips soon enough, any you get should work just fine. In the meantime just increase reps. Been using it for a few days and definitely feel like it's doing its job. The platform is sturdy enough, and the door clip comes in super handy for doing things you wouldn't be able to do on the platform. You can add multiple bands to it, or to the bar, but like I said, unsleeved bands would work best if you plan to use multiple. But all in all a solid product and a worth it buy. ... show more

First off, a few days after purchasing this item, I started suffering from Buyer's Remorse. Eventually, I decided to cancel the order and requested such in a message, thru Amazon, to the seller...on the day it was shipped. The seller sent me a nice message advising me on how to return the item. But, when it arrived, I decided I should give it try. I'm happy I did.     • Great Product - but have some issues
will keep you in moderate shape. This won't replace free weights entirely. My problem I have with this is that I am 6' 5" these bands are made to stretch but they end up rubbing on my body on some types of the exercises. It's something that wouldn't happen if I just used free weights instead. So this is a good product for a shorter person or a person with also smaller hands. My back of my hand got ripped up from the nylon straps from doing simply bicep curls. I ended up having to buy weight lifting gloves to protect the back of my hand from rubbing. The nylon could have been better manufactured so it's not so sharp. the examples show a model with no gloves and I just don't see that happening with this product. The weight resistance for me is not enough, so if your a moderate weight lifter this won't be enough for you. You will need the second set of bands. Right now this will do till I can get back to the gym. But this doesn't feel like it will replace the gym. If you have the room in your house go with free weights instead of this. But if you don't have the room and you do moderate to simple exercises this is great for that. But for the price it does offer a lot of choices of exercise types and muscle groups for the cost. Also this will NOT mess up your floors. Unlike free weights which if you drop them it will destroy your floor. So if your a klutz like me this piece of equipment is great for your house and floor. ... show more

    • Better than expected
I didn’t expect this to be as high quality that it is! I had a squat bar with the resistance bands previously but wanted a base for it to attach to to provide better stability when using high resistance and because I was too short (5’1) to get the full resistance from the bands otherwise. This set allows you to squat (I bought several other resistance straps to make it closer to an actual squat rack—I do go to an actual gym and have fairly strong legs), do hip thrusts, kickbacks, bench press, bicep curls, shoulder presses, and more. I do strongly recommend getting additional resistance bands for those who also go to the gym, but this provides a fantastic base and bar for starting out. ... show more

Love it, portable and easy to store. It is an excellent addition to any home gym. Im not gonna lie, I received my resistant bands before these and reflex to my resistant bands but I still enjoy using it.

    • Great home workout with lots of videos to get you started!
We have only had the BodyBoss gym for a few days so we have only worked out a few times. However, we found plenty of videos to get us started with the gym, and it is versatile enough to give both my husband and myself a great, complete workout. Looking forward to using it more!

Okay okay. This a hundred dollar piece of equipment. But I don’t understand why you would put lunges in your instructional videos. I used this primarily for leg day, and it did the job. But when one leg was off the baseboard, it was clearly straining itself. And then today, snap! It cracked in half. So yeah, get this only if you plan to keep both feet on it at all times.
