I actually like these for references for drawings I want to do, but I thought the pieces would have been a bit more secure like the breast and ass for the figures keep moving around. Also pieces were hard to remove and I lost a small piece. Maybe I'll find it.

These are great for demonstrating the human body in motion when drawing. They are very moveable and can be put in lots of different positions. I am very happy with these. I would like to see young people and children in this set as well.

Even allowing for creative representation in the photos, the posability of the figures is quite limited. Yes, the joints do move and in theory the figures would be more than capable of achieving a wide variety of poses. The problem is that where the joints connect is either going to be far too loose or far too stiff. The result is that the limb doesn't stay where it's positioned, or there's no way to position it without it popping off of the ball and socket. Additionally, once one of the limbs pops off, putting it back in place is tricky and the corresponding limb will then have the tendency to dislodge as well because the mechanism holding them opposite each other now has too much play.
