I bought this body camera to feel safer on my 1-2 hour morning walks, and I like this device because of its long battery life and ease of use. What I like about it: - Ease of Use: I turn this model on before I start my walk, clip it to my belt (or the hem of my leggings), and then click the recording off at the end of my walk. - Good Battery Life: I recorded a 2.5 hour walk and kept the camera on the entire time. The battery was still more than 50% full when I finished my walk. - No Third Party Apps: I can make, review, and delete recordings on the bodycam itself, without using any third party app. (I like that I didn't need to install any apps or give out my personal data to use this device.) Also, I can transfer the recordings to my computer by plugging the bodycam into my computer. - Quality Footage: This bodycam has a video mode, camera mode (for photos), and a 180 degree selfie mode. The videos mode uses a wide-angle lens that shows a LOT: when I clipped it to my waist, the camera showed me, who I'm talking to, and who is standing around me within 2-3 feet (for reference, I'm 5"4. Tall people could probably see more.) The audio is a little muffled when it's windy outside, but I could make out individual words spoken in a conversation I held at normal volume with a friend. Flashlight - I use this when I'm crossing the street in poor lighting, so that cars can see me. I used to use my cellphone for this, but my bodycam has better battery life. I think the light could potentially stay on for my whole walk. Also, this bodycam fits on my cellphone stand. Overall, this camera makes me feel safer during my morning walks without slowing me down-- I love that I can clip it to my belt, go for my walk, and forget that I'm wearing it! ... show more

    • Lots of features for the price point!
This little camera is a feature-packed private camera for the price! The video quality is excellent, and the rotating camera's functionality makes it useful in a greater variety of situations than competitors. The feeling of this unit in your hands leads to the impression that the construct is of lower quality materials, but the performance of the camera does not seem to support this impression. This camera's performance matches the claims and descriptions as advertised. Except... the use of the wording/phrase "night vision" is a bit misleading. This phrase is more commonly assumed by general public to include the ability of a device to internally shift from normal lit recording to using IR functionality when the environment is typically too dark for video recording. In this case, night vision means the camera can record with the assistance of small LED lights. This more could more accurately mean that recording can be done at night, but it does not really mean Night Vision. And finally, the sellers are definitely not skilled or practiced in writing or communicating in the English language. There are myriad spelling and grammar errors that may be off-putting to some customers, but there are no noticeable correlations between poor writing and the quality of the product. Lesser skilled writing doesn't bother me inherently. This is a great working camera that operates exactly as described. And the price point is more than fair. I would buy it again. ... show more

    • Amazing and Cheap
I was not expecting much, but it was good enough I used it to make a YouTube video for my channel. It is easy to use but you must learn it's operation and memorize what each button does. It is fairly discreet. I can put it in my shirt pocket and I don't think anyone has noticed it yet. The longest I've run it for so far is 4 hours. You can run it in one continuous video or break it down into to 5 minute videos. I prefer the 5 minute videos since I'm using it in case of a defensive situation. The camera lens rotates 180 degrees so I'm able to put it on my visor to record traffic. I have not and probably would not use the night mode. It is not really a night vision camera...it has led lights for night time use and is actually pretty good. I have not used the motion detect but it does work when I tested it. If I ever need a motion detection camera in the future I will buy this camera for that use. ... show more
