So I got this for my home theater set up, I'm on a really tight budget and this with a gift card fit in with what I had to spend. The sound is really good, the lights are annoying but easy to turn off, but if you turn the system down the light settings revert back to normal. The remove only got 3/5 stars because there's tons of buttons and the instructions are vague about all but the obvious buttons. Volume control got 2/5 because the bass is really high while everything else is really low and the instructions probably explain it but there's no INTUITIVE way of changing it. It paired instantly and easily with my Projector but the sound lags with whatever I'm watching. No idea if it's the system or the projector, there's only 3 feet of space between them. Like watching an old kung fu movie, the mouth is moving but the speech is a second or 2 behind. Set up was cake, it comes with mounting brackets for mounting on walls but you'll probably want dedicated dry wall screws/anchors over what's provided. The cords are really long, not sure exactly but much much longer than I need which is great. However they're built into the speakers so if something goes wrong they'll be hard to fix. The only thing "wireless" is the main unit/bass speaker, all the satellite speakers are wired but as mentioned they're really long. After everything was hooked, we are half way through the movie and the bass went out. And all the other speakers were still playing. This is a gift to me. Can we send back for an exchange or repair or something. It’s like buying a lemon

    • All good but remote (remote issue resolved)
Received system, all components present, no damage noted. During set up though, found remote defective, i.e. volume controls would decrease but not increase volume. Manual controls worked fine. Notified Bobtot service department via email, waiting now on reply to repair/replace remote. Except for remote issue, system looks and sounds great. Hoping to hear back from Bobtot soon. Update: Bobtot responded and replaced defective remote. New remote works great. Great customer service. ... show more

This has more than enough base than you could possibly need for surround. Volume not so much. It does not have a lot of flexibility in mids lows highs. But I did not expect that. The level change for each speaker is on the remote specifically identified along with the subwoofer. But the incremental changes do not seem to change a lot for the front or surround speakers.     • Make sure your TV output is set correctly.
This is a sweet set up. I'm not easily impressed but after about 20 min of set up and making sure my TV output was set to allow outside output everything worked amazingly. It even allows my TV remote to turn up the surround without grabbing another remote. I debated on going cheap and getting what I pay for.
