Put everything together and installed a nice millennium seat on it. I sat on it and it clicked in place. Tried to pull back out from base and took an insane amount of force to remove the pole from the pedestal mount (it was like it was stuck). Decided to return since I need it to be quickly removable. Then I tried to remove the seat mount from the pole which also was so stuck that I had to smash it repeatedly with a Mallet to get it free. ... show more

It's very solid and easy to install. I especially appreciate that the bottom is aluminum, as that is where water is likely to pool and cause rust on a steel bottom mount plate.
