This was to replace a 20 year old one on a 37 year old bass boat. It is the same size as my previous one was why I chose it as the location was already set. I did not use the adhesive as it may get moved. I would prefer the storage rack sticking out the front be at the top instead of at the bottom so the pliers hang instead of sit on the floor. It would be fine and work better for that function if hung somewhere higher. The 3 storage compartments are large, with one having a deep slot on front for a mug handle. The plexiglass in the middle is a green color and kind of illuminates those 2 compartments is a plus. All 3 have several holes in the bottom at the corners for drainage. The problem I have is that nothing small will stay in there. Things like hooks, weights, snaps, spare trolling motor prop shiv, etc. Even my little flat reel screwdriver/wrench slips through the slots. It keeps everything dry by staying drained well though. I wish one compartment had a full bottom or there another place for small stuff. The openings on the top corners fir lure hanging seem to let lures fall out easily where the smaller holes hold them better. It is made of hard plastic and doesn’t give much. I secured it with 3 smaller screws through the pre-drilled holes in the back as the screws that came with it were rather large. It does come with T-track fasteners also if you want to go that route to attach it. ... show more

I got this for my aluminum canoe to make it a little more organized while fishing. I like the spaces for hanging rigs and lures, and there's plenty of space in the main compartment with the divider for you phone, some pliers or whatever else. It comes with a big adhesive patch, but I just screwed it on through the back. It also has hardware for mounting to t-track. I agree with one of the other reviews that it would be nice to have some storage for small pieces. For the mean time, I have a plastic container inside the main compartment that I put loose hooks and sinkers and stuff in, but it's not the most elegant solution. ... show more
