I have had these on the front an back of my 328i for 2 years. No rust, have held up well, still shiny and look same as when they were new. They were easy for me to put on. The mounting screws have a flip over cap on top, to give the entire frame a silver look. While the caps are plastic and seemed flimsy when I put them on, they do snap shut, and have never popped open or broke through weekly washings at the car wash. I think it would be a shame to put a cheap looking plate frame on a BMW, these plates look upscale on the car. ... show more

This is an official BMW product, not some cheap aftermarket imitation. The metal is solid, and fits perfectly. It does not come with screws, but that's okay because is DOES come with screw caps that hide the hardware quite stylishly after it's been installed. The BMW logo is set inside a poly-rubber material type bubble that is not quite visible well in the photos but looks GREAT in person. If you're not a fan of giving dealerships free advertising, replace that funky black plastic one you have now for this. It's worth it. ... show more

I bought one to check the look and feel. After receiving the product, I purchased a second one. The frame feels solid. The logo is embedded under a clear shield. The product comes with 4 rubber spacers and 4 screw covers. I used the spacers in the front but no need for the rear frame. The screw is made of plastic but at least it looks pretty good, but I would say one would not miss much without them. The frame fit the (NJ) license plate pretty well and the hole alignments are right-on. No problem installing them. Overall, very satisfy with the product. ... show more

Frame looks great, and while subtle, put a nice finishing touch on the rear end of my vehicle. Classy, simple, clean, and attractive. Highly recommended. Came with washers and little hinged snap-on caps to keep the water off the screws and the screw holes in the trunk, which was a nice touch. Edit: The screw covers don't keep water out. My screws rusted, and stripped when I needed to get them out. - 1 star. Also, this plate does not conform with MA Vehicle Inspection rules, as the bottom BMW letters block "The Spirit of America." Completely stupid rule by our idiot government, but if you're in MA and with the new Inspection Protocol, this will hold you up when getting your sticker. ... show more

Just what I needed. I use an offset license plate on my car (because I didn't want to drill hole in my from bumper), which doesn't have full perimeter support for the plate. I tried plastic frames, but they didn't do the job. This plate is nice and sturdy and sharp looking. If I didn't already have the same one on the back, would've bought another. ... show more
