    • Fantastic add-on for BMW sedan drivers who didn’t think of kayaking when buying their car!
This roof rack was exactly what I needed! After tons of research on multiple options for installing my kayak on my sedan I decided to bite the bullet and make this purchase. The rack itself was fairly easy to install (I’m a single female with limited construction skills) and came with all tools needed. It took about 20 minutes to get my head wrapped around all the instructions but I think that was just me overthinking it and reading ahead. It took me a little over an hour to install by myself. I drove my car for the first time after installing and I do hear the wind but it’s not unbearable like the other reviewer mentioned. I just turned my music on and couldn’t hear a thing. It’s also expected since an addition has been made to the vehicle and it’s going to sound different than when nothing was installed. I haven’t yet put my kayak on it because I’m waiting for my straps to come in but I am super excited to go kayaking whenever I want now! Hope this helps you all make a decision. ... show more

    • Works but WHISTLES — bothers dogs
It’s easy to install — 2017 BMW GT. My dogs were bothered by the whistling though. I bought a wind fairer but never got the chance to try it as I traded in the car.

I would like to mention that it does whistle but for this price tag is so worth it. Check it out at the BMW. You will pay the double if not more. I can live with the whistle, just close all the windows turn the AC and some music and you are Golden. Seller was kind enough to put the price to an affordable level. Thank you. ... show more

    • Great value, definitely recommend
Super easy install, took me 20 minutes max by myself. Depending on the speed I’m driving at there can be some road noise (usually a whistle) but you’ll get used to it.

    • With a little adjustment it's rattle free.
The media could not be loaded. I really like the BMW roof rack. It installs easily, looks nice and can't wait for my BMW roof box to arrive. I've posted a video on a simple solution to stop the end caps from rattling. The fix is guaranteed to work 100% of the time. I highly recommend this OEM BMW roof rack. ... show more

    • Amazing for the price
Excellent price for the same kit you’d get at the dealership. Fits great and looks good. My only gripe is the wind noise, which is more noticeable than some others I’ve used. A wind faring would really help, and would still be hundreds cheaper than alternatives.
