firstly theres a film over the acrylic so everyone that wrote that its not clear probably forgot to take it off, as for durability I bought seperately (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LVGZJLB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) this tape and used it to put shelves on a mirror wall I have. It's been over two months now and the shelves are still up and nothing has sagged or fallen. I will say however that none of the shelves weigh more than .2 lbs, I tried to put a plant that was 1lbs and ever tried to double up the shelf but it sags quickly so I wouldn't recommend this for anything heavy. ... show more

We just got around to opening this order...MONTHS later. VERY disappointed. They are not clear, as stated, and also labeled clear on the package. They have an opaque finish and look very cheap. One was scratched very badly. So upset I cannot return them. Kicking myself for not opening them sooner.

First, they arrived in perfect condition. My plan was to put my collectible lunchboxes on them. Installed the first one and noticed that the anchors fell right through the wall because there were no hooks on the anchors to grab the wall. My advice is to toss all the screws and anchors that come with the shelves and get some larger ones that will keep the shelves from leaning forward. Also get some translucent washers to help with securing the shelves and keep them from cracking when tightening the screws. I've got three up so far and had to use two shims on one of them to keep it from leaning. Keep in mind that these lunchboxes only weigh about 1 1/2 pounds (including a thermos). ... show more
