You need to cycle water through the machine 30 or 40 times before the water comes out clear again and you don’t have particles floating around in the water.

This filter (as the 2,3,&4 counterparts) is indeed suitable also for KFL-ROPOT-180 as stated by Bluevua. The key to make them to function properly is to align it perfectly, pushing firmly upward first and twisting then until the indentation on the side of the filter meets the "key" in the housing of the machine (see pic) Forcing the two arrows to coincide or being misaligned will make the machine to stop working.
