If you watch the video of the product on Amazon you'll think the number one feature on this portable speaker is how rugged it is. There is no dispute that this speaker is rugged and easy to carry. But what good is rugged without great sound? And it is here that it delivers in spades. Not only do you get high quality from the normal listening frequencies but the base is impossibly good for such a small speaker. You can feel it. It is also easy to carry with a removable handle. A feature I discovered after purchase was the integrated lights. I must not have paid attention when I ordered it and who buys speaker/flashlight combinations anyway? It's obviously good for camping but I don't camp much anymore. There are five LED settings. The third setting is a very bright LED that I have now used often. It's also great for reading at night. I'm finding all kinds of uses and it is always handy because I'm listening to music. The fourth and fifth level are a bit of a mystery to me. One is rapid flashing and the other appears to be flashing SOS which might be helpful if you need to signal friends that happen to know Morse Code and you need help with your date. I bought it for listening in the shower that allows me to answer the phone if I'm waiting for a call. Just be careful. The great base will vibrate the speaker off a smooth shower shelf. Two issues I have which are minor but instructive. By accident I sprayed it straight on. I didn't think it would be a problem but I noticed right away a difference in the sound. The quality was affected for about two days and then it apparently dried out and the sound returned to normal. No need to test a direct spray to the speakers, I already did. They will survive. The only design issue I have is the top buttons. They function perfectly but they are so hard to see and I am in low light often. It was hard to hit the right button quickly if I wanted to mute or answer a call. I found a very easy solution and I will post the picture when I get a chance. I painted the buttons with different nail polish colors and now finding the buttons is easy and the speaker is a bit eclectic. If you try it and find that you want to remove the polish that can be done easily with polish remover. This is a great speaker. Easy to sync. Long lasting battery. And the lights are a real bonus. If you are looking for a great portable bluetooth stereo speaker system this one is at the top of my list. ... show more

Very nice little speaker, yet powerful enough to get the job done. I use it as a work radio an it's perfect and well built I do demo work so I'm prepared to drop it a few times or drop a wall on it lol it's like a rock and waterproof is even better. The bass isn't that booming but it does have decent bass and crisp sounds. The package or box it comes in was different and cool. Update 10/11/2020: I have had this for a while now strictly as a work radio and let me just say that this speaker has help up awesome through my tourtue test, falling off step ladders off roofs playing music in and out my work bag everyday has sceen plenty of drywall dust and you can easily run it through water at end of day to clean it having paint splashed on it, literally tossed around like a your favorite toy growing up and it's still just as good sounding as the day I purchased it there is some rust starting to build up on the metal parts but overall it's working perfectly! I will absolutely be buying another one...just waiting for this one to die or break and it don't look like that will be anytime soon not even with the crap year of 2020 has been it's still pushing through the bs with me lol Doss hit a home run with this speaker by far their best one. If your thinking of buying it for work as I do then don't hesitate it won't let you down. ... show more

This speaker has lasted me for years. She's played by campfires, floating down the creek, sitting in the dash of my car, in restaurant kitchens and many other places. Great sound, battery life and lights. & of course the fox face is so cute 🦊 Zero complaints.

I bought this for my 8 year old son to use. It's a great speaker with good sound quality. I love that it's water proof and basically drop proof. It comes with a carry handle or a shoulder strap. We use the carry handle which helps him not to drop it. The design is super cute and the eyes light up. It has multiple choices on the light setting from constantly on to SOS. They don't however change color your only option is white. The only problem I've had is the auxiliary port doesn't work. I just figured that out about 2 days ago when I tried to use it for the first time. The battery life on this speaker is awesome. It's Bluetooth and very easy to use. We use it on and off for days at a time without having to charge it. The first initial charge will be the longest which is the chase with most new electronics. It's lite weight and very durable. I've used it around water with no problems. Overall it's a great little speaker that gets the job done. I've had it for 5 months and I waited to review so I could give my honest opinion on it. I will be contacting Doss about the auxiliary problem and see what can be done to fix it. I'll update you when I know more. I still recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a affordable speaker. ... show more
