First what I did not like. The net screen that sits just under your chin is not removable unless you cut it out. It makes it a little difficult to remove the helmet as it catches your nose. No big deal. Next you cant close the vents in the front so this is a little noisy on the highway if your trying to use the mic which I don't. Next lets talk value. First my other helmet costs at least 400 percent more than this one did. I say that so we can take a fair look at what you are getting for the cost of this. In my opinion this is not a helmet you buy if you ride like you are on fire or race etc. FIT: Helmets really should be tried on as there are three basic head shapes. I wear a large and ordered an x large. It fits me very close to as it should if it were a perfect fit. So I am happy with the fit I have with this helmet. This is a modular so the front flips up if you want to talk or even ride on a slow lazy park road open face. It is also nice for talking to someone next to you without removing your helmet. There are two shields on it an inner - tinted and outer clear. I have not figured out how to remove the outer yet but for now that is not a problem. The speakers need to be properly inserted / fit into the helmet and if you want the mic set that up too. The mike is attached to one of the speakers and is not removable but could be tucked out of the way in the helmet. The bluetooth will sync to ios (mine) to hear music / use phone but the helmet is a bit noisy on the freeway and the earphones are not upgradeable. The mic and earphones are hard wired to the bluetooth unit. Padding is acceptable inside the helmet and it is comfortable enough for me. I think this is a decent starter helmet if your just deciding if you want to ride and want head protection at a fair cost. You get a pretty good bang for your buck with a basic bluetooth unit and a head cover and gaiter thrown in. It comes in a bag and that in a basic as it gets box. The shields are covered with a film and had no scratching on them. There was also spare sticky pads for the speakers and a couple spare screws and nuts for the bluetooth unit which clamps onto the helmet not stick pad on ( I actually like the clamp on better). ... show more

This helmet is so comfortable in comparison to others that I have been years. Very easy to figure out and put on, it runs a bit small so I sized up 1 size, the visors work great and do not slide down on their own, full face or half, and it's an excellent value for the money! Summary: The lack of an ECE sticker while claiming ECE certification is enough for me to say pass on this. The seemingly low build quality doesn't help. I'd use it in a pinch if I had absolutely no other choice. I wouldn't ever use it otherwise, or at any real speed, or on long trips, or let any passenger use it unless I don't like them very much. There are better helmets at this price point as far as protection. First the pros: -Comes with a Bluetooth headset that seems to work (although it's very low build quality) -Comfortable -Quick release strap (if you like these) -Modular (if that's your preference) -Comes with an extra visor that is tinted -Offers a separate interior tinted screen for protection from the sun when you need it but won't blind you at night like switching out your visor to a tinted one -Very affordable Then the cons: -There is no ECE sticker on the helmet and I don't see one in any of the photos even though the description says ECE. Based on how the quality of this helmet feels and how thin it is overall and lightweight, I really doubt it's ECE approved. Very sketchy overall and makes me doubt the quality and seller. -The other main review here with a ton of photos is for a different helmet that does not match the pictures on the listing. I received my helmet a little after this review was posted so I can only assume they are shipping helmets that aren't all the same. Sketchy at best, also makes me doubt the seller and quality of the product. -Bluetooth headset is very cheap, maybe equivalent to a $30-$50 one you could buy on Amazon. I highly doubt it will continue to work for more than six months, a year tops. Even if it does continue to work the battery life will likely drop off very quickly. -Can buy a much higher quality helmet at or around this price point, granted without the crappy Bluetooth headset, that will offer much better protection to the most important thing to protect while on the road... your head. The Scorpion Exo line for example makes a helmet at the $110 price point that is amazing for entry level or new riders as well as a bunch of other brands. -Quick release strap instead of traditional (not as safe) -Usually wear a large, had to size up to an XL.
