I've been wearing these for work 5-days a week, with varying amount of time during an 8-hr work day, but I'd say easily less than half the day, so for me the battery will last over a week easily and I've gone 2 weeks w/out having to charge, but that's about max for my usage. It does take a little bit of time to charge, but really so far the only thing I can complain about is the device's perceived battery life. It audibly informs you that the "Battery is full" or "Battery at Medium" (which it says @ 70% charge). but then also I'll get "Battery Low".. yet it's also still @ 70%(?) and doesn't seem to fall (read) below 70% when it actually evidently is. It would be nice if instead of "Full" or Medium" or "Low", it would tell you actual percentage when you turn it on, so I don't have to look at my phone for that info. When it does become "Low", it's a little heavy on the warnings to inform you of such, but I found it's also no joke, because you won't get through the day if you connect and it's telling you it's low (still reading 70% mind you), it's gonna die out on you soon, depending on use length. So I've learned that if I charge it once a week, so far that works for me so that it won't die on me at work again. - The sound quality was better than expected, and a good bit better than my previous bluetooth headset, which instantly made them a backup pair and these my main pair. - The phone's during-call sound seems to be decent on both ends. I haven't had anyone complain or say that they can't hear me, so that's better than my previous set too, and I can hear people fine. - Connectivity to my phone is fast every time. - Once in a while one of the rubber speaker covers (ear buds) will pop off, but it's easily re-installed, but you just have to pay attention when putting in/taking out to make sure you haven't lost or about to lose one. I am on perhaps my fifth set of these SX-990 neckband headphones. I find that this is the very best design for headphones. You can wear them, and put in and take out the earpieces as needed, including to answer calls. And you don't lose them! There are a lot of other neckband headphones that don't retract, but you need them to retract because otherwise they are going to end up in your soup. These work well - they pair easily, they stay on your neck (some other ones are too smooth, and constantly slide off your neck.) Sound quality is fine (I'm no audiophile). I've got the controls all worked out too. They can pair two devices, which is good - I have separate work and personal phones. Batteries seem to last forever - my phone battery runs out all the time, but these never seem to run out. The big negative is that the hinges break. It's inevitable, really something of a design flaw. Honestly, I never fold them, and it would be just fine if they didn't even have hinges. But the longest I've had a pair last before one of the hinges break is perhaps a year (although I do wear them pretty much every day!) I just finally gave up on a pair that I had duct taped after the hinge broke (my wife thought that wearing a duct taped pair of headphones was... well, you can guess!) I have two more pairs still in their boxes for when the current pair eventually break. But given that these cost about 1/5 as much as the bigger brands, and those also break, I reckon I'm still ahead. Don't know about anyone else but I find the "medium" size pre-fitted rubber earpieces too big, so the first thing I do is swap them out for the small ones. Guess I have small ear holes! All in all great value, and there arent actually all that many options for retractable neckband headphones, so I'll keep buying them as long as they are available. This is my 2nd pair! The last ones I had were so good that when they died, I ordered this pair and these are an upgrade from their last ones with a really good price. The sound quality is great, with booming bass sounds. The noise cancellation is great too. I enjoy listening to music and videos. The mic and talkback features aren't top-notch, but the conversations can be heard and understood. I haven't gotten any complaints from anyone I'm talking to. ... show more

I purchased this little headset to replace my old one that I finally wore out after 8 years. It lasts about 2 days on a full charge and has decent sound quality for media but for phone calls it's very boxy and people's voices do not reproduce well through it. The earbuds themselves are pretty comfortable and the overall build quality of it is not bad for the price. It's a shame that phone calls sound so muffled and boxy through it. ... show more

I'd seen all sorts of people wearing earbuds, but also hearing of them falling out and getting lost. That is not a good endorsement! Besides, I never really found anything that felt comfortable in my ears..... until now. I LOVE this headset. The earpieces have never fallen out, but if they did, I can't ever lose them! They are all part of a very lightweight, comfortable neckback. This is the best solution for me as I love to walk and do handy work around my home. Now I never have to miss a call. So far I really like this headset, even got one for my wife, so that we can go about oir busy day with kids and still take calls. We also use these for work and exercise and so far the ear buds stay put. Clear sound and no random dropped calls.
