I took it to the course for the first time and really put it to the test. I must of dropped it twice, stepped on it one (don't ask) and knocked it off my cart two more times. I could have sworn that I damaged it but by the 18th hole it was still working great. Good job Blue Tees.

Update: After writing my original review below I was contacted by blue tees costumer service. They offered a full refund or exchange for my original range finder. I decided to do the exchange and they sent out a replace range finder after I agreed to send them the original defective one. The process of sending the bad one and waiting for a new took about a week plus a couple more days to get the details of the exchange set up. All that said I’ve updated my review to 4 stars. The range finder works great, it was just a pain getting a defective one, going through the return process and waiting for the new one. =================================================== Original post below =================================================== During the unbox and setting up I realized that once the battery was installed the battery cover never could snap back on all the way and was loose. Well when I was playing my second round of golf the loose cover fell of and was lost. I was careful with it because I thought that it might fall off with the defective design but didn’t think it would happen with in 2 weeks of owning it. After losing it I reach out to blue tees customer service to see if they would be able to help me with a replacement cover, but haven’t gotten a response (it’s been 10 days). If you are looking for a range finder and find this one on sale it might be worth the risk of buying it and seeing if you have better luck with the poor battery cover. I’m going to give blue tee a couple more days to contact me. If I don’t hear I will likely return the defective range finger. I’m giving 2 out of 5 stars only because 1.) the battery cover was defective and poorly designed (-2 stars) 2.) the customer service ghosted my request to help address this issue (-1 star) I will update if warranted. ... show more

Shout out to "Alex" at Blue Tees customer service. I bought this Series 2 three years ago and for some reason the laser started to go defunct and would not longer track the flag. After a few rounds I finally requested some help from their CS team and was told, while I was outside the warranty, they would hook me up with a 30% discount to buy a new one. After some more back and forth with the issue, they realized this was a major outlier and wanted to dig into it and also give me a series 3 in exchange. I bought this thinking it would be better than my old Calloway 300 pro. I really don't like it. It's larger than my old one and doesn't have a magnet that I can attach to the golf cart. It's harder to "lock on" to the flag. It feels all around cheap. I've gone back to my old one.
