I was so skeptical and torn based on brand history and reviews. I felt like no matter what I purchased, anything was going to “kill” or make her sick. My one-year-old Malamute absolutely LOVES Blue Buffalo. The packaging was fine; the inside product was fine and definitely smelled like real meat product. I was dealing with intolerance of cheaper, accessible options from the local get-it-all-here store. However, her quality of poop immediately improved. She also immediately discriminated between the BB and other kibble as we were transitioning. She would scoop it in her mouth, put it on the floor and nudge away the undesired kibble. While I personally have not tasted this food for myself, my large fur child loves it! I have two smaller dogs that also eat Blue Buffalo since I adopted them and our two cats also eat this brand. Blue Buffalo is a little more expensive, but totally worth it because of all of the nutritional value and ingredients.
