I really like this coffee and buying three bags at a time is a good value over the individual bags. I gave this product 4 stars only because it was delivered on 10/13 and all three bags expired on 12/9. In the past, when I order the three pack, it usually has a shelf life of three or four months. I'm still going to drink the remaining bag and a half that is past the expiration date but I feel like the short shelf life is a little inappropriate. ... show more

Very bitter, funky tasting stuff. I enjoy dark-roasted flavorful coffees like Death Wish, dark Starbucks blends and rich Italian blends. I'm a cream and sugar coffee drinker from Seattle, WA, so that may have influenced my preferred coffee choices. This coffee is very complex and might be good choice for black coffee, and espresso drinkers, but again just not my cup of coffee. EXPENSIVE too at over $25/lbs, yikes. ... show more

I ended up buying the bright type of coffee. It is very light I think next time I’ll go a little higher in the caffeine level. If you want it to be a little stronger, you have to use a little more of this particular type.

I love Blue Bottle Coffee. If you have ever visited one of their cafes, you likely have drank the kool-aid. The cafes are chic, the baristas are the experts in the field, and the final part of the experience is the coffee which is the most smooth coffee you’ll ever taste. Being able to have Blue Bottle espresso at the start of the day is the best way to start your day. 5/5 stars ... show more
