We said we'd give it a week before we judged this bed. We bought the split king so each can easily raise the foot or head independently. Each bed takes Twin XL sheets. We both unpacked and put them together. It was pretty simple. We cut the zip ties, tipped the frame on its back, and screwed the legs on (we used all three segments, but you can make the bed sit lower by only using two per leg.) It's true, you need no tools but scissors or wire cutters. Don't forget to cut the zip ties to get the joiner thing from under the bed. That's used to hook the beds together so they don't slide around. That's handy so we can use one bedspread to cover both. We love this bed. We got plush, and my husband was worried it'd be too soft, and I was worried it'd be too firm. We are both very happy with it. We found the vibration to work quite well. I read many say they could barely feel it. We have the thickest mattress and were pretty impressed with how well we could feel it. It's very relaxing! The light below the bed that lights the floor is handy, but we have touch lamps so don't use that much. The remote is simple to use. While we're watching TV before bed, hubby likes the zero gravity setting, whereas I like my head up just a little and my feet up just a little. One button puts it flat again. If you are on the wire about buying this, you won't be disappointed. We're very happy we got this bed and wish we would have sooner! ... show more

I paid a lot more for the exact same frame from a mattress store! I bought this one a few months later for my mother, and it is exactly like mine and she LOVES it!! Mom isn't the easiest person to please so nothing brings me more joy than her enjoying a gift. Overall? Excellent choice. I give it 4 stars only because the legs (leg supports) are not that strong. I am 230, she is 130. If you plan on doing any "Olympic Sports" in this bed I would recommend NOT using the full risers on the legs. Again, love the bed, but every few weeks I need to bend the leg supports back in the upright position. Also, side note. If you get the split King like we did you will need to figure out how to ratchet strap them together or during said "Olympic Sports", someone is going to end up in the crack between the beds.....usually her. ... show more

My old adjustable base was about worn out so we purchased this new base. I have horrible sciatica back pain and insomnia so I looked through reviews and found this one. An easy setup was a must and no doubt this was an EASY setup! No tools needed just take it all out, put on the legs, put on the mattress holder at the foot of the bed and put in the batteries of the controller! I thought I needed a newer mattress because my old bed was so uncomfortable but when I put my own mattress on this base it felt amazing. I just received this base yesterday and I already love it. My usual sleep is around 4 hours nightly but I slept for over 8 hours which I never get! I now realize sometimes it's not the mattress that makes the difference but the base! ... show more

Ordered the split-king and took a while to get it; first because it was out of stock and then because FedEx had some delivery issues. When we finally received it, I immediately began to set it up. First off, setting it up is simple; unpack the two twin adjustable bases and set them on their side, set length and install each of their six legs per base, plug in the power supply to the base, turn the frame upside up and plug in the base to an electrical socket. Then you unpack the remote control, install the three included AAA batteries and perform a test of each of the bed’s function. Unpacking the two mattresses took a little patient to prevent damaging them. They are compressed and then vacuumed-sealed in clear, thick plastic, so one must be careful not to cut through the mattress when removing the plastic. Once unwrapped, it only takes a few minutes for the mattresses to expand to their original thickness. So, we had a chance to sleep on this bed for the last two nights, plus I took a nap yesterday using its zero-gravity position. So far, I must say that this bed is everything the manufacture claims it to be. At first, I thought the mattress was going to be too soft, but it turns out to be just right. It’s very comfortably and, especially, the bed’s zero-gravity adjustment is a great feature when taking a nap or just for relaxing. Since the king-split comes with two separate bases and mattresses, there’s no disturbance when one partner moves around or get up from the bed. Also, each bed includes two remote controls to adjust each base independently. The remotes come with three quick programmed adjustments, which can be changed or reprogrammed by user. The under the bed light comes on handy when getting up in the middle of the night for any reason…bright enough to walk safely at night, but not so bright to disturb others. I tried using its massage feature, but due to its 12” thick mattress, IMO, it doesn’t provide a real benefit; the vibration just doesn’t travel well through the mattress. Each base comes with four USB ports; they are under the bed, positioned upside down. Because they are upside down, if the USB cable is not tight, it can fall off and get disconnected, especially when adjusting the frame. This can be prevented by squeezing the cable’s metal connector a bit at a time until it goes in tight. You can also use plastic ties to tie the cable to the bed’s frame. As for the price, IMO, there’s no lower price on an adjustable bed, with such features and quality, in the market right now. I did several researches, searching for adjustable beds that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, while providing at least some basic features. This bed came out on top, not just because of its many features, but especially when it came to price. Most manufactures I checked offered just the adjustable base, without the mattress, for about the same price as this complete set. To summarize; at least for the split-king bed, it’s simple to setup…no tools needed. It includes two mattresses, two bases and two remote controls. The bed is comfortable, and the remotes work well when adjusting the bases. The bed is also great for relaxing after a hard-day’s work, though, IMO, its massage feature can be improved. Finally, you can’t beat its price, especially with the many useful features. It looks and feels solid built, but only time will tell how long it’ll last. So, for now, I give this bed a five star because its many features, price and seller support. I recommend it. One more thing, I had to contact the seller twice because of issues with FedEx shipping. They replied each time and followed up to ensure the issues were resolved. At least to me, that’s a plus…it says a lot about a seller when they stand by their product and ensure customer satisfaction. Update: Each bed needs six legs, not four as I had stated previously. Each leg comes in sections, with each section measuring approximately 3-inches in length. You adjust the legs by adding or removing sections. With all four sections installed per leg, bed’s height is approximately 14.5 inches to the top of the base and 27 inches to the top of the mattress. The anti-snore feature may be useful for back sleepers, but I can't see how it'll benefit side sleepers. As I understand it, this is the way it's supposed to work; if your partner is snoring, you press the anti-snoring button on the remote and this will raise the head side of the bed a few degrees. This action momentarily interrupts your partner's snoring (similar to when shaking someone who is snoring). After about 5-minutes, the bed will return to its flat position. ... show more

EDIT - Frustrating that it came and didn't work at first. HOWEVER, the company sent us a new foot controller, but that wasn't it, so we did some troubleshooting and the company replaced the main control box. It was easy to replace and after we paired the remote, it worked fine. I do have a concern about the main control box, it smelled horribly of plastic or glue or something, but it's underneath the bed, so we'll see how it goes. ... show more
