    • Really Nice & Practical
I've been using these now for several months. They were VERY easy to install Get the little aluminum fasteners (sold separately) to install under vinyl siding. They work great. I used the temporarily free 'Cloud Storage' feature but quickly decided I didn't need another subscription service at cost to store the videos. I bought a 256g memory stick to capture and store the videos and it works just fine. So far haven't captured any burglars trying to break in but am amazed to find bunnies, possums, raccoons and even coyotes hanging out after dark on my patio and front porch. Like an animal dinner party every night. It takes a little work to exclude from the view being motion captured the things that will trigger a video (who cares if your neighbor turns his/her lights on every night) but when you get the hang of it it's quite easy to eliminate those kinds of events. Also, unless you live in a high crime area, it's better to 'Disarm' the things (one click) when you're at home and out and about. I had a patio dinner party one evening and forgot to Disarm the camera. Got about 40 action video captures of people eating, drinking, laughing, etc.. Took a while to delete those. :-) ... show more

Poor battery life, but, the app will let you know if you can expect short battery life. The provided lithium batteries do last longer than alkaline cells, but, they do not give as much warning (sometimes none) before replacement is necessary. Using alkaline batteries, the camera gives a much better low battery warning. Amazon keeps updating the app, generally making it less user friendly and saving them storage space. Range of motion, motion detection and programmability need improving. ... show more

Definitely worth the money. Easy to put cameras in and install anywhere. I have the synch but decided the yearly subscription is better for me. We have several devices and for 10 dollars a month unlimited devices with live views you can't beat that.

I bought these for use outside my store. I have a huge problem with people stealing or destroying things in my planter. The FIRST NIGHT I caught one! The clarity is unbelievable and you pick up every sound. Our PD has cameras on the corner that I’m sure were expensive and they’re so blurry they’re useless.     • Great cameras but !!
I bought mine on September 2023 it is now July of 2024. I am just now able to get them installed due to several deaths in my family and the possibility of moving, I did not want to reinstall again. My complaint is that I was told when I called blank that you could use two separate systems on One phone. In other words two modules for one phone to monitor. This is not true. Now it's too late to send back, I didn't feel like I would need to. I have one of the very first systems that came out which I love, but now my new system can't be on with the old system. I installed app on husband's phone first so now he is administrator and because I have the old system on my phone it won't let me have his system on my phone. I know this sounds confusing you can imagine my confusion. LOL long story short if you already have a blink system you cannot add another system to your phone. You cannot monitor two systems on One phone or one device. Very disappointed since I did call to confirm that that was possible before I purchased. I explained in detail what I was needing to do. One system monitors one place and a new system was to monitor another place but I cannot monitor both of them on One phone as they both have different administrators and that cannot be changed. I tried, even called blink they said that that could not be done. So if that being said I won't be by anymore blink. I truly hate it when you confirm what you need to know before you purchase and you are misinformed. Cameras work great, but only my husband can monitor them because I can't put them on my phone with my other cameras that I need to monitor. Yes I could add more cameras to the system but that will cost me more money when I have a system already that I've been using for years, that doesn't make any sense. Live and learn. ... show more

I had to replace a similar plastic camera mount after years of outside weather. The mounting became brittle, but my Blink camera looks brand new. That's what I like about these units, they protect the camera and extend its life for a minimum cost. So far, this mounting unit is as good as the previous ones and I expect many years of service out of them. ... show more
