After 6 months use daily, this amp Powers my 2 subs, one 10 in kicker, one 12 in jbl. No over heating issues, sound quality decent. Remote works great. Only thing I dislike but is not a big deal or defect in any way, is it wish the terminal bays and screws were slightly bigger for thicker Guage wiring. I go heavy duty on power and ground wires. Have a subwoofer with bad electronics in it. Been trying for years to clean it up so I could use it. Nothing wrong with the speaker. Came up with the bright idea of using a car amp to drive the speaker. They are reasonably priced such as this one. Serendipity would have it, the mounting holes on the amp line up perfectly with the mounting holes on the back plate of the subwoofer. All the talk on here about this amp not being 1500 watts is just pointless. What the hell do you need that much wattage to drive a speaker for? It is the same nonsense seen in home theater subwoofer specs in general. The sub is going to sound just as good at 100 watts as at 1000 watts. My 10 inch sub with this 150 watt amp at 16 volts sounds great. Hits hard enough to feel it and piss off the neighbors at the same time. The only reason I don't give this amp 5 stars is the manual is trash. The layout is confusing and more importantly, no definitions of what the different features are/do. Some you should already know just being around audio for any length of time, but other settings are extremely vague and would take some time trying to research online. A simple one sentence for each feature at the front of the manual wouldn't be too much to ask for. ... show more

Decent little amp it's running a single 12" sub hits pretty good notice a little cut out had to back down on the gain which was only halfway also there was something rattling around inside so I took off the back cover and two screws fell out that could have shorted the amp out quality control miss this good thing i decided to check before install ... show more

Full Disclosure, I am not trying to push this thing anywhere near its limits, nor would I try. I'm using this to run a 500W max RF 10" sub in my weekend warrior truck. And it does a great job. Pushes the speaker above and beyond its limits so I cant go full tilt on it. Love that it came with the remote knob and it all works perfectly. Installed with some 4 AWG power cable and has been working flawlessly since. I plan to upgrade to a 12" sub in the near future that is capable of a bit more power. We will see how it handles the heat of summer. 5 out of 5 and would buy again based on what I know. Will consider other Blaupunkt Amps for future upgrades. ... show more
