I use these power in-ceiling speakers in my home. I first tried using a single amp and speaker selector as shown on the right of picture. Using these Blaupunkt Amps to power four speakers in 1-2 different zones is SO MUCH better. Using the Alexa ap, I can play different songs, at different volumes, in different zones, or have them all act in concert. The sound quality is solid and the power good at literally a fifth of the price Sonos charges. Also at the same sound output, these amps stay relatively cool compared to my SSL amp that gets quite hot. I plan on purchasing more to kill the speaker selector altogether and add some additional bedrooms. ... show more

I installed it on my Harley and it was great and sounded good pretty good sound. Had it about a month But now I have the issue of it going into protection mode randomly. Before it would come off and on and now it’s staying in protection mode . This Amp is really impressive for the price. I did a head to head (totally amateur) comparison of a few different amazon amps in the price range and this was the only one that didn't sound like garbage. In fact, I'm quite impressed with the sound quality. Is it anywhere close to the advertised output? Of course not! Don't expect to drive four 6x9s and a set of subs but if you're like me and running four small coaxial speakers and want something better than the head unit power, this is a really good choice in the sub-$100 range. ... show more

Amp is complete garbage. I was only running four prv 6 and a half voice speakers and it sounded really good for about one song maybe one and a half sings then the amp would cut off and go into protection mode and get super hot. Everything was hooked up by a professional installer and even he said he would never do another install with this name brand. Spend the extra money and get something better ... show more

Had one before and definitely does the job. My old one went out after 2 years. So I purchased a different one. I ended up returning the other brand and got this same one. It works amazing. I have a 2 12’s on a 5000 watt amp and the 1600 for my inside door speakers

    • High Pass Crossover dials don’t do much

I can not tell a difference between full range and using the High Pass Filter. It’s as if it literally does nothing. For the money it will amplify your speakers but don’t expect much in regards to using the crossover features. You get what you pay for so I get it. In hindsight I wish I spent a little more money ... show more
