  • Bible Card Game
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
I bought these cards to create a Bible knowledge card game for my 3rd & 4th grade Bible class. The cards worked very well, I put images on label and applied the labels to the cards. They have held up well with all the handling the 3rd & 4th graders have put them through. It also makes learning fun.

  • Great cards for use in mentalism and magic shows
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
These cards are the perfect size for stage presentations using blank cards.

  • Not Poker Sized - check the width!
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
Quality of these cards is fine, as other reviewers have described. But please check the width! These cards are two and a quarter inches wide (2.25), not two and a half inches (2.5) like poker cards. Really can't fault them, as they tried to make this clear both in the product title and descriptive images. Even so, I purchased them thinking they'd fit in a Bicycle Poker playing card box, and they're a quarter inch short in the width. ... show more

  • Size needed, finish not a fan of
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
Overall 10/10 fast shipping, great condition and thick cards. Since I'm using to create a game I use pencil a lot, not a fan of the finish. When I start switching to marker they will be 100% perfect

  • good finish and good deal
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
These cards were exactly what I was expecting and seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I'm using them for an "oblique strategies" set of cards. The finish was good for my purpose, writing, because it was between flat and glossy. If I need more I would buy these again.

  • May be or may not be a good fit for your project
Style: 200 Aqueous Finish Cards
Before writing anything else, I'd like to give a tip of the hat to Apostrophe Games for having supplies like this for sale for people to get creative and make their own games and projects. I didn't actually think I'd find 200 blank bridge cards for sale, nor some of the other stuff they've got up for sale, but here they are. So kudos to you, Apostrophe Games. I used these 200 cards for two separate projects--one being a custom card game and another being a custom Clue game. I spent a week or two drawing with sharpies (as the description of the product says it works with permanent pens and markers) on each individual card (as a side note, you can see through these cards with a lightbox if you have one--makes it SO much easier to design like 200 cards). I let the cards dry out completely for a few days before Christmas. On Christmas, we played the card game and quickly realized that the cards were beginning to smear even though the cards had been given plenty of time to dry. By the 27th the smearing was very noticeable as pretty much every card had started to smudge. We are now sort of afraid to play the card game I made and are considering getting a new deck of professionally printed cards in the future. On the other hand, the cards worked great for the Clue project. For Clue, you don't have cards in your hand for the whole entire game--you only look through them at the start and when you have to show someone a card you have. As a result, they haven't really smeared at all yet, at least that we've noticed. In conclusion, if you're going to use markers, these cards are good for light handling. But if you plan on making a card game, I'd suggest either mod-podging the cards if you can (keeping in mind that will make the cards a bit thicker) or going with a set of blank cards with a matte finish as the markers might take better to those. (I believe Apostrophe Games sells matte finish cards but I could not find any in bridge size as of this writing.) ... show more

  • Just the right thickness
My grandsons like to make their own game cards. They went through the pack quickly because they were easy to draw on and were as thick as a normal hand card.
