I've been using this sink for about a month now, and I just LOVE it. The shape is lovely and matches my new quartz countertops perfectly. It is not quite a rectangle but not overly rounded, either. The sink is very deep, so you will want to make sure that your plumbing is situated correctly. My old sink was not nearly this deep, so the plumber had some work to do to move the drainpipe down. The sink is also very wide - I have yet to find something that doesn't fit! If you have lower back problems, keep in mind that you will need to lean over further to do dishes. If you hold them up too high, water splatters all over the countertops. If you let a lot pile up (which I am sure you would never ever ever do), you may feel sore after an extended period of washing. And if you do happen to let things pile in the sink, this sink has amazing capacity - you can get several days worth of dishes in here and not be able to see them from across the room. The teenager in me loves that (though I never let them pile up....)! ;-) The raised "tray" on the right is very handy for fragile items or small items that like to jump down the drain when you're not looking and wreak havoc on your garbage disposal. As described, the material is strong and does not stain. I live in an area that has treated water, so I sometimes see white marks from calcification. These go away with a little scrubbing. ... show more

I just finished gutting and remodeling my entire kitchen. The custom cabinets are Carmel Apple and the granite counter tops Typhoon Green. This Truffle sink is the perfect color match for my kitchen and makes the Island pop. I had initially chosen a double bowl sink, but when I learned of this super single I changed my design. While the texture of the sink is a bit more 'plastic' than I had hope, I am extremely satisfied with the quality and versatility of this sink. Both my largest cookie try and my over sized roasting pan sit flat in the bottom. The deep design allows your tallest pots (plumbing warning to come). I also purchased the walnut cutting board, and the stainless steel bottom rack -- the side colander came with mine although it was not clearly stated if it would or would not. These two purchased competed this sink and I get nothing but rave reviews from friend and family as to the great looks and functionality of this sink. I routinely dump boiling water into it and never worry about hot pans as they are held off the bottom (the manufacture claims you can place hot pans directly on the surface). As with any thick / well insulated sinks, the garbage disposal is not as noisy when operating. In closing, I was a bit concerned with this sink as I have never used this material before, but I am sold now and would not hesitate to purchase again. Plumbing warning: due to the depth of this sink, be diligent and measure as the drain may not be low enough. Measure multiple time to satisfy yourself that you will have some kind of slope away from the trap. Garbage disposals will make this more pronounced. Also, I put in a very heavy duty / well insulated garbage disposal. These types tend to be taller. In my case there is probably 4-5 inches between the bottom of the disposal and the floor of the sink cabinet. ... show more

I love my sink! It is huge, I can finally fit a pan in and scrub it. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. I'm giving it 4 stars because it says it includes the mesh colander but it was not in my box. I purchased the sink in advance for a new home build almost 7 months ago and the box sat closed with all the building supplies until a few months ago when it was installed by the granite guys. The mesh colander was not inside. Such a bummer! ... show more

I absolutely love this sink. I had my last sink for 20 years, and gave much thought into what sink I wanted installed for the next part of our lives. We installed this sink in April 2017, and there is nothing I don't love about it. I also purchased the sink grid with this sink and would do that again also. I use the stainless steel colander that came with the sink to hold washed out recyclables, and the grid on the bottom helps keep things off the bottom of the sink. The sink does not stain and is very easy to keep clean. I just use dish soap to wash it out. Occasionally, I will use a drop or two of bleach on a wet wag and wipe around the drain. The deepness of the sink is excellent for stacking dishes, and I really like the fact that ALL of my pans fit in the sink, so there is no juggling trying to wash my cookie sheets, etc. I have a faucet that extends down quite a ways (I specifically looked for this) and am pleased with how it can reach down into this sink to spray it and keep gunk out of the bottom. We do not have this installed yet, but so far I love it! Exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful blackish/grey-blue color. We are remodeling and needed an undermount sink for our granite countertops (not yet installed). We hope to have this installed within the next week or so, and I will update at that time. But so far, awesome, can't wait to see it in place! I was seriously considering a single bowl sink but hesitant as I'm used to the standard separated sinks. This seems like the perfect compromise. Only one drain, a very large sink area with a slight leveled side shelf that will drain into the sink, but nice for separation of small items you may want to rinse/wash and dry separately from dishwasher, or rinse veggies, many other uses. My contractor says it's going to be perfect. Plus only one drain, so less piping under sink. ... show more
