Continued use on a regular basis will keep the surface in tip-top shape to minimize sticking and enhance flavors and ensure even heat distribution. I used this seasoning to condition my new griddle and was very pleased with the outcome. If you do the seasoning as suggested, you will use the entire jar on a 36" griddle. Take your time and let each application smoke off completely before applying another coat. Three to four produce a nice even color.
