  • The best way to handle two cameras
Definitely way more comfortable than the Spyder holsters I have. Works great!

  • Gunslinger essential for sports and outdoor
It shoot with two cameras when shooting sports. Initially was a bit worried about the locking system ( were is slides up and down with quick release) but 5 minutes of practice it became natural. Never was worried about falling off as I had a secondary locking system.

  • The Perfect Dual Camera Strap
I have used a single BlackRapid strap for many years, but recently wanted to adopt a dual-camera workflow. After some research I found myself very happy to use the familiar BlackRapid system with all the upgrades they've made since my first one. The only component I didn't find useful and in fact removed, breaking it in the process, was the cover that flips over and clips closed across the carabiner to add a final lock. While very secure, I like to be able to quickly detach and reattach my camera as needed, and this lock prevented that. I was able to remove it but it broke in the process, so not something that is easily swapped on and off. In my experience with BlackRapid, I had no hesitations about removing this because I have full faith in the security of the mount and carabiner to hold the camera without the extra step. The leather straps offered by competitors make fit in nicer at a wedding, but I'd rather go for comfort and proven security. Plus, these straps aren't exactly ugly and would fit in just fine without calling for any attention. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
To start. I was expecting to get a cheaply made knockoff to holdfast gear. I know that every once in a while this type of harness is going to come in really handy, but it wasn't worth spending north of $200 so I was left with the cheaper options and we all know how that story usually ends. I was impressed with the material and build. It is very durable and holds the camera securely. I shoot with a Sony a7r iii and an a7 iii with a variety of lenses so my setups aren't light. The sliding lock mechanism works really well. it was nice to keep the camera I wasn't using from swinging in the way, and was still extremely fast to switch cameras. I am confident that if there is a little bit of rain, I will not get brown stains from leather rubbing on my clothes. I read some reviews about how the screw that attaches the harness to your camera backs itself out (I'm not sure why you wouldn't check that before use considering the $ you probably put into the equipment hanging off of it) however I did not have that issue. There is a rubber spacer that rests between the camera and the part that screws in, and that held just fine. I kept checking it and it never backed out at all. I also read some comments about the back strap coming unhooked on people. I could see how that could be a problem for some people depending on fit, but I did not experience any issues at all. I'm not sure what spending double the price on the higher end options is going to give you that this product doesn't, but I'm definately happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking. The only thing I can't speak on is longevity of the product, but it seems really well built, so I'm sure that will be fine. I will stop back in to update if there are any issues. I have used this product while single shooting a couple weddings (I had to run around everywhere all day) and also during a couple hiking trips (used as single harness) and have had no issues. Thank you for making such an amazing product at an affordable price! ... show more

  • Using it a bit differently
I carry a pretty heavy single camera rig (10-12lbs), and a regular around the neck strap hurts after 5 or 6 hours. So I attach the side straps to my camera frame on each side of the rig. The weight is across shoulders, not neck, and it keeps the rig in place. This setup is solid and there is no chance of a drop. Plus being attached by two independent straps, totally secures against a single strap failure. ... show more

  • Best purchase as an event photographer.
This harness is just about everything that I could dream of as a live event photographer. Prior to buying this strap, I fumbled around with two sling straps; while I was able to make it work, one camera always had more liberal movement than the other. I decided to take the plunge on this strap, despite the hefty price tag, and I don't regret it one bit. Both cameras hang comfortably on each side of your body. Because the strap connects to the tripod mount, you don't have to worry about having the strap on the wrong side. It's as easy as picking up your camera, taking your shot, and putting it back down. Because of the shoulder support, it's incredibly comfortable, and I can shoot full-day events with no issue. The only real criticisms are wholly non-criticisms. Strapping your cameras on will also take some time, so be sure you have ample time before your event to put on your fasteners, connect them to the harnesses, and attach your safety straps. It's not a grab-and-go sort of strap like the Peak Design straps, so give yourself time to prep. This strap isn't for you if you don't use two camera bodies in your line of work, obviously. You also don't need it if you're comfortable and proficient in lens changes out in the field. It's also fairly expensive, so I wouldn't consider it a necessity in every field of photography. You're not gonna need it as a portrait photographer, astrophotographer, landscape photographer, or street photographer. But if you need several different focal lengths without having to change out lenses, consider picking this up. I'd also pick up safety straps with it if you do buy it. While I trust the quality of BlackRapid straps, I also don't want to risk the possibility of a product defect or a freak accident. Overall, if it's appropriate to your line of work and it's within your budget, I wholeheartedly recommend this strap. It's going to be a mainstay in my arsenal for a long time. ... show more
