The media could not be loaded. The "to be viewed" side of this wrap has an excellent finish and can handle quite a bit of abuse upon application. I never tried heating it as I only used it on flat glass, but I did crack my driver's license squeegeeing the air bubbles out... Not a scuff on the film. I guess a word of caution if you plan to use it in a way that the underside is visible. They wouldn't make it this way if it didn't have a purpose, but the underside has a raised grid on it that traps TINY air pockets, it's visible if you apply to glass and can see the underside, which fill the voids of the grid and can be pushed out if you press on it but reinflate once the pressure is gone. just installed this. tinted 2 cars and 3 house windows in the past . same type of mechanical applications to instal window tint but no water to help you float it into place. you will need to pull the wrap back up a portion to correct imperfections and this is not a problem for the wrap to withstand. this wrap is cheap enough in price to learn with and seems to be of good quality. 4 stars for now. if it turns out to be poor quality i will change rating. you need to watch 3-4 how to videos to see how it is done, what to be cuatious of and The DO'S AND DONT'S of how to fit, apply , and finishing corners and curves . figure for someone new to take 2 hours to complete a car hood . ... show more

I used this stuff to wrap the front of a portable AC unit. All of the furniture in my basement is black or with a wood grain pattern so the white AC was really out of place, it was practically glowing. I should preface this review by mentioning that I have never wrapped anything before. A while back I considered wrapping my laptop but with the way I'm so particular about very small details I always felt like the wrapping process would drive me crazy and I would never be happy with the end result. This AC project didn't require nearly as much precision as wrapping a laptop so I was willing to give it a try. The end result was pretty good. I ended up with a few creases toward the bottom around the left hand edge but it's virtually impossible to see that. I was mainly concerned with getting the front of the unit a smooth matte black. Mission accomplished. This wrap was fairly easy to work with. I was able to pull it off and re-apply it over and over as I worked my way down from top to bottom. I didn't have a squeegee or whatever other tools you're supposed to use, instead applying it by hand all the way down. I didn't use any heat at all either. On the bottom I had about a half inch of fold under so I used some electrical tape to secure the bottom edge. I'm not sure how well it will hold up but since it will be inside I think it ought to be fine. If it starts peeling off I'll have plenty more to try it all again. Final notes: - Dimensions: I dunno what dimension is supposed to be 2 feet, but this roll was absolutely not 2 feet in either dimension. I haven't completely unfurled it but I'm assuming that's the 5 foot dimension. The roll I received is 3 feet tall. So I'm pretty sure I received a 3'x5' product. This worked out ok but I was counting on the 2' roll as I would have only had to cut out my piece in one direction rather than trim it in two directions. - Packing: the outer packaging was a sturdy cardboard box with some paper which offered ample protection during shipping. However, there were two very annoying pieces of tape used to keep it from unfurling in its packaging. This tape left a slight oily sheen on the matte surface which I didn't realize until after I had cut the piece to size and applied it. I was able to "buff out" the oily sheen with a dry rag. ... show more

I used this to wrap the upper part of my 350z's dash (area from the radio to the gauges) The black is almost a perfect match to the rest of the interior. Because this shape was convex I was able to wrap it after around 30 minutes of heat and trail and error. With this wrap heat is super important because it has basically no flex without heat but with heat it will flex a ton. In a few areas I accidentally over heated the wrap and it got a very nasty shiny appearance so I redid those areas. The only issue I ran into is that I wanted to also wrap the piece of plastic around the shift knob. This was literally impossible to wrap though because its concave. Maybe their is some way to do it but I was not able to wrap it. So that piece I just spray painted with matte black spray paint and grey primer and it turned out okay but not nearly as nice as the wrap. ... show more
