First timer here. Have an old office chair that I really like and can't find a good replacement for the right price. The fake leather started to peel. Using this was like painting on really thick using a tiny little spatula. Maybe if the spot was smaller this would work but my results are not for showing off. However, it dried great, doesn't transfer to my clothing and holding up great....so far, we'll see. For the price I would pay this would be satisfactory for the job. ... show more

This is amazing! I can finally patch those holes from my cat's claws in my leather couch and you can hardly tell they were there in the first place. The spreader tool that it comes with makes big patches of ruined leather easy to repair, however, it looks best when used on smaller scratches and holes. Still, definitely a good buy! ... show more

I used this to repair some small cracks in the arm rest on a vinyl office chair. The chair is black, and the black color matched pretty well. Don't expect the repair to be invisible - either that or you need a lot more talent than I have. However, it did seal the cracks, so I expect they won't get any worse, and it was cheaper than buying a new chair. The kit comes with a lot of the repair goo. Two tubes of black, plus a tube of white. I assume you can mix the two to do repairs on gray material, but I did not need the white. I only used a small bit of the black, so I still have a full tube of white, plus a full and almost full tube of black. It's relatively easy to apply and comes with a plastic spreader tool and a small container in which you can mix the colors if needed. Also comes with a brush, which I did not use. I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet, but rated five stars since I am impressed with the kit and all the instructions for different uses. I want to try to repair a sofa that is peeling and will share an update with results. Package came smashed but contents are still perfectly fine.

    • Comprehensive Vinyl Repair Kit
I ordered this because the advertisement has a photo of a worn steering wheel. I decided to try and fix mine to see if the kit is worth it. So far I am on part one of the repair. The second will be coloring the worn area. Per instructions it's a good idea to let the compound dry for 6-12 hours between coats. Always starting from the outer part of damage and moving in. I think the only issue I expect to run into with this patch kit is mimicking the texture of the leather on the steering wheel. While I could made a silicone stamp to do this I only care about functionality. Plan on not driving the car or using the furniture for the day you apply the product. ... show more

Good repair kit for small rips/tears. This isn’t an ideal kit for tears in leather that are missing sections. Good for straight tears and cuts. Pretty straightforward to use. Not perfect, but pretty good.
