These speakers hit hard , if you can install them , install them , they were design to be loud but on low volumes they sound just fine too , I needed an inch spacer to keep my window from hitting the speaker magnet , so cutting was done to fit into my oem door panel , im not disappointed in the speaker and given that it's a new product , im blown away with how it sounds , they are not your regular 6.5 door speakers , they are design to get loud , I will be getting another set for my rear deck for the coming summer months , great job guys . ... show more

This speaker is a big bad boy, in the picture I have it next to a genius audio 6.5 and you can see the size difference . Speaker sounds great and def sounds better than my ds18 , but the price is a lot more. Figure it’s almost two ds18 to one black diamond . These are EXACTLY the same as the DS18 but cheaper. I'm running about 125 rms to them through a Polk Audio PA1100.5 and they sound amazing and LOUD. They are pricey at $65 each but you won't be disappointed.
