I researched a bunch of coasters and these are what we ended up going with. After the first set we bought many more. If you want a classy, high-quality coaster that can both work for cold drinks and even hot plates this is it. I have a family of 6 and these protect our table from both drinks, and because they are silicone we put them under bowls, plates, and other hot dishes and they work awesome. I also drink water out of large mouth mason jars and they actually fit on them as well. They are the perfect size. The rim holds in moisture and it is an easy wipe to clean them. The bottom is and sticks well to the surface it goes on so no sliding. I also like that they are soft so you don't scratch and bang your nice surfaces. Very Kid friendly as well. I bought these coasters and I can say that visually they are quite attractive, and the silicone material is versatile for both hot and cold drinks, it is good quality and excellent in thickness, the size allows all types of glasses to be placed. Though I’m all for earth friendly materials, I’ve had too many ceramic, wood, slate, etc coasters that end up being tossed because they fall apart. These little blue circles are multifunctional too, in a pinch I use them for spoon rests or as a trivet. I like the hues too( even the darker tones are pleasing and contrasts well with the lighter ones and against light countertops. The caddy it came in is smooth enough it doesn’t scratch/leave marks on the counter too, but I tend to put it in the draw and just stack them on top one another since that’s what they’re for LOL, I get that it’s a nice option and for those who like having a “home” for them. It would be cool if they caddy was silicone wrapped too though; then it would definitely stay on the counter! ... show more

The colors are accurate, they have no defects and feel nice and smooth, the backs are solid, and when liquid drips on them they actually look kind of cool! I love that it comes with a simple metal holder (pictured), and the colors and design are really nice.
