I used only bag of this food. It’s actually great food for your dog if you can stand the smell. Just a weird and awful smell to me and the dogs would smell like it all day too. Switched to different food after they finished 1st bag.

We were looking for a healthy kibble food alternative for our pitbull (Goofy) because the regular store sold brands are very unhealthy - they are processed, do not have any nutritional benefits, and quite frankly nasty. Even the ones that claim to be healthy are only a tad healthier than the others. Read the ingredients and do some research to find out what the ingredients are - nasty. They may cost less but in the long run our pets are like our children and part of the family. We all want the best for them. Goofy loves the Bixbi food. He did from the very beginning. I did some research on different kibble dog foods (puppy) and this one seemed to me to be very balanced and healthy for my dog when it comes to kibble dry food. The puppy did not hesitate from day one to eat it, I was concerned since the person that I got him from had her on a different brand (not too healthy by the way) compared to this one. I can't comment about the taste, sorry Lol. but my puppy does not hesitate to eat it when I serve it to her so I guess it tastes great on top of being healthier than most other brands I researched. Yes, I definitely recommend it, yes it's expensive compared to other brands with less healthy ingredients. When compared to similar brands I think this one still beats them out. ... show more

the stuff is a bit pricey but it has no fillers, and no junk in it! I only feed 1/4 cup per day per dog, and I have 3 Jack Russell's. It is their bedtime "snack". They wait for it and beg if the time is nearing the usual timeframe. this behavior never happens with other dry kibbles, so they know the difference and prefer this over nearly everything else! ... show more
