I wore these ear buds to the gym today. They performed well. They easily paired with my mp3 player. I have also successfully paired them with several Samsung phones. They stayed in my ears for my workout. I had plenty of volume. Never dropped the signal. Sound quality was good. Can't complain for the price. I would rather it 5 stars if I knew they would continue to work for a couple of years. The thing is that I have purchased about 6 pair of buds from 6 companies. I spend as little as necessary as I have found them to be somewhat unreliable long term regardless of money spent. I sent one pair (brand to remain unaimed)back that quit working within 30 days. I put another pair ( also unaimed) in the junk drawer. They wouldn't stay in my ears for five minutes sitting on the couch! That leaves me with Samsung, Edifier, Jl labs, and these. That's listed in order of price and how long I have had them. I'm not going to spend the time and effort to rate them by sound quality. There are plenty of utube videos to cover that. They all do a decent job. I'm primarily using them to help me ignore gym rats who think sitting on a piece of equipment reading texts is the same as exercising! Don't get me started. Anyway...my opinion is that my best ear buds are the ones that do the job at this moment. Right now the Samsung work when they want to. So they are like me! Retired. The Edifiers are great when I can get the right side working. They are frustrating! The Jlabs have only been around a while. They work well, we're about $28 at local electronics store and use them occasionally around apartment. The buds this review is for are new and I've shared my thoughts on them ... show more

I use these for work and either lose or break them a lot, that’s why I look for cheaper priced earbuds. I’m very happy with these. Not only were they 12.99 but for that price the quality is actually very good. Would recommend.

Worst Feature: The manufacturer's setting is 100% volume on connection. Every time they are (re)connected to a device after charging, this gets reset. I'm assuming this is done because the quality testers do not (or can not) adjust the volume when they check to see if it is working, and not an issue with the audio drivers in every device which connects to it. It is extremely physiologically painful, I have tried multiple devices, and the end result is that the speaker in the device gets blown out after a short period of time (or I have hearing loss from being assaulted by 170 dB directly into my eardrum). This is my second pair. I got the 1st pair over 3 years ago, but they were stolen about a week ago. I was VERY happy to see not only they still are for sale - but they are $30 cheaper now than the 1st pair! The sound quality is amazing!! Battery life is also amazing! Don't wait!

My only complaint is it hurts my left ear and makes both my ears feel wet. I'm going to be trying an external headset. Product is great, but my ears are sensitive.

I now have three pairs of these because over the past years I'll lose one and buy another because I love them and then I'll find the original pair. Sound Quality is very good for the price that you are paying and they do cancel out the background noice. I swear people have to yell at me to get my attention. The battery life on these things must have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior because it's almost everlasting! The only draw back is that they are not water proof at all. I dropped one in a small puddle for a singular second and now it sounds lopsided when I listen to stuff. Overall fantastic for the price ... show more
