This charger seems more durable than even the original charger. The prongs of the plug on my original separated from the charging base which you plug in, because of it poor construction. I kept using it for a while by carefully plugging and unplugging it, but after a few months it stopped functioning. I bought this one as a replacement. This after-market one feels a lot sturdier, charges just as fast, and will probably last longer. The prongs also feel less likely to separate from the charging base. ... show more
