    • Easy to use, clean floors after!

The short story is it is easy to use and works so well! I would purchase it again without a thought if i needed. Floors look amazing! The long story... I was hesitant to buy this but I really needed to get something. We have a 60 pound lab mix and just got an Irish Setter puppy. Both love going inside and outside all day. Vacuuming our house and using a hand push Bona just became impractical. (Tile downstairs and LVP upstairs, no carpet other than rugs.) I had been willing to pay the almost $1000 price tag on the Dyson Submarine, but the reviews and videos just didn't make me a believer. (We currently have a cord and cordless Dyson so we are already brand supporters). I found that this item and the product description made sense as well as the video and reviews. The packaging was over engineered, no chance the items inside could be damaged unless run over by a bus. Assembly was very easy, it was pretty much already fully put together. I can't say anything about the cleaning samples they sent, I have just been using water or water with a small touch of vinegar, but there were 3 that came with it. But my floors!!! Wow!!! I wet the mop heads before use with water and when I turn this on it simply glides over the tile floors. The amount of fluid you squirt while cleaning will lengthen drying time but my tile dries in about 2-10 minutes. The LVP I am more judicious with the spray so it dries faster, more like 1-2 minutes. The dogs walk around on the floors before the water dries but I never see prints when dry (tile and LVP are a faux wood plank, walnut color.) The mop heads are white when you get them but they certainly won't stay that color. The first use amazed me in how much dirt and dust we had... like ewe^10. After one use and a wash in the washer they were a light gray. After using them weekly for about three months they have settled into a nice medium gray tone after going through the washer. It amazes me how dirty these two dogs and two people can be! But my floors look and feel amazing. I do vacuum the floors first, then use the Bissel. For my downstairs (1000 square feet) I am done in about 30-45 minutes. Upstairs there are more items to move around as well as closets and bathrooms to go in and out of. I would say upstairs (1000 square feet) is more like 45 - 60 minutes. Again, those times include vacuum and mop use as well as dry time.) It comes with two or three sets of mop heads I think, but I bought extra so that I could trade them out as they got dirty and get a couple with more umph at scrubbing if needed. (Have not needed the scrubbers yet.) I use 2-3 sets downstairs since that is higher traffic and can usually get away with just one, sometimes 2, upstairs. They are velcro and I haven't had any issues with them coming off during use so far. The soft side of the velcro is on the mop head so they don't snag on things in the washer. I am 💯 in love with this product. I won't say I look forward to cleaning, but I do love how clean the floors feel to walk on after I am done. My husband is a super fan of the product as well!!! My dogs, the jury is still out with them. Added benefit - our puppy was smart and potty trained pretty easily. But there were accidents for the first few months. We got this item when she was about 2 1/2 months old, but the main room we kept her in had a little urine smell to it.     • Throwing Out the Swiffer Wet Mop

The rotating heads on this Bissell do a nice job getting my luxury vinyl plank floors clean. And the price point is great! Everyone has owned a Swiffer and although I love the fragrance of the wet pads, they dry out so quickly, you end up going through a ton of them when cleaning floors (Let me add I don't think they clean that well). I really believe the amount of Swiffer pads purchased would have paid for this Bissell. We are a multi-pet home so having a floor cleaner with washable pads just makes sense. Now let's talk about corners because every other review states it cleans corners and others say it doesn't. You cannot fit a square peg into a round hole. It absolutely will not clean an inner corner however, outside corners and baseboards are thoroughly cleaned. Mop pads are easy to take on and off thanks to velcro. The mop glides nicely over the floors and deep cleans. Because my floors are LVP, I don't notice streaking. I really can't smell the citrus floor cleaner but it cleans well. I would love something in a lemon scent though. The Bissell is lightweight and maneuvers easily. Bissell has been a dependable product in our home so this was a no brainer. Super easy to fill with the cleaner and it goes a long way. Most bang for the buck. ... show more

Have used the spin mop several times on a 2,000 square foot house and it is quiet. The canister to fill with liquid is easy to take on/off. Pads are easy to take on/off. Maneuvering the spin mop is easy, and it does require you to have some control of the spin mop, and this can be done with one hand. I have been on the cell phone and mopping at the same time with no problem. The pads do a good job cleaning. My issue is the pads do not return to their white color and to clean them is difficult. Have placed them in the washer with bleach and hot water, but the pads remain gray. Yes - my floors were dirty because we had just moved into the house, so there was a lot of tracking of dirt and debris. And because the pads do not go back to a white, it's kind of disappointing not seeing how much dirt is picked up each time. I do have two sets of pads, and now two sets of pads are gray and dingy. Will see how long the pads last. The electrical cord could be a little longer - and that is a personal preference. Another foot or two would be great. ... show more
