  • Best mop ever!
Style: SpinWave PET, 20399
I have been using a Shark steam mop for years to clean our hard surface floors (hardwood, tile, LVP, etc.) and it was just not getting the LVP as clean as I would like due to the small groves in it. I researched automatic mops and found this one came highly recommended so I ordered it and boy am I glad I did! This is the easiest mop to use as it essentially moves itself, you just guide it to where you want it to go by twisting the handle. This is great for my bad back and makes the mopping so much easier. I used to end up all sweaty after mopping with the Shark but no more! Now I will mop more frequently and spot mop when needed due to the ease of use. The mop comes with 2 small bottles of solution, good for 4 fillings of the mop tank, and it has a light, pleasant smell. The mop cleans very well, gets under counters easily but not under the front of my refrigerator as the Shark did, and the pads are easy to change. I also appreciate the 22 foot cord which means I only have to unplug and replug once or twice to mop the entire house. Finally, I like that I control how much cleaning fluid to use depending upon how dirty the floors are. I highly recommend this mop. ... show more

  • Easy to use, clean floors after!
Style: SpinWave, 20393
The short story is it is easy to use and works so well! I would purchase it again without a thought if i needed. Floors look amazing! The long story... I was hesitant to buy this but I really needed to get something. We have a 60 pound lab mix and just got an Irish Setter puppy. Both love going inside and outside all day. Vacuuming our house and using a hand push Bona just became impractical. (Tile downstairs and LVP upstairs, no carpet other than rugs.) I had been willing to pay the almost $1000 price tag on the Dyson Submarine, but the reviews and videos just didn't make me a believer. (We currently have a cord and cordless Dyson so we are already brand supporters). I found that this item and the product description made sense as well as the video and reviews. The packaging was over engineered, no chance the items inside could be damaged unless run over by a bus. Assembly was very easy, it was pretty much already fully put together. I can't say anything about the cleaning samples they sent, I have just been using water or water with a small touch of vinegar, but there were 3 that came with it. But my floors!!! Wow!!! I wet the mop heads before use with water and when I turn this on it simply glides over the tile floors. The amount of fluid you squirt while cleaning will lengthen drying time but my tile dries in about 2-10 minutes. The LVP I am more judicious with the spray so it dries faster, more like 1-2 minutes. The dogs walk around on the floors before the water dries but I never see prints when dry (tile and LVP are a faux wood plank, walnut color.) The mop heads are white when you get them but they certainly won't stay that color. The first use amazed me in how much dirt and dust we had... like ewe^10. After one use and a wash in the washer they were a light gray. After using them weekly for about three months they have settled into a nice medium gray tone after going through the washer. It amazes me how dirty these two dogs and two people can be! But my floors look and feel amazing. I do vacuum the floors first, then use the Bissel. For my downstairs (1000 square feet) I am done in about 30-45 minutes. Upstairs there are more items to move around as well as closets and bathrooms to go in and out of. I would say upstairs (1000 square feet) is more like 45 - 60 minutes. Again, those times include vacuum and mop use as well as dry time.) It comes with two or three sets of mop heads I think, but I bought extra so that I could trade them out as they got dirty and get a couple with more umph at scrubbing if needed. (Have not needed the scrubbers yet.) I use 2-3 sets downstairs since that is higher traffic and can usually get away with just one, sometimes 2, upstairs. They are velcro and I haven't had any issues with them coming off during use so far. The soft side of the velcro is on the mop head so they don't snag on things in the washer. I am 💯 in love with this product. I won't say I look forward to cleaning, but I do love how clean the floors feel to walk on after I am done. My husband is a super fan of the product as well!!! My dogs, the jury is still out with them. Added benefit - our puppy was smart and potty trained pretty easily. But there were accidents for the first few months. We got this item when she was about 2 1/2 months old, but the main room we kept her in had a little urine smell to it. After using this product for a couple weeks the smell was gone completely. ... show more

  • Mopping is a dream!
Style: SpinWave, 20393
This spin mop is a dream to use. It is quiet, time saving and durable. The mopping solution dries quickly and loosens dirt and grime. I found that I have to hand wash the circular pads to get them clean.

  • Used units are being sold as new, use caution
Style: SpinWave, 20393
This is the third time I've gotten a Bissell product from Amazon that was used and cleaned up and refurbished before being resold. Very frustrating! I'd almost guess Bissell does this themselves because it looks professionally repackaged and cleaned. Luckily there isn't much to the Spin Wave that can go wrong, so please observe the following before you use it: 1. Fill the tank with water and spray it out a few times to flush out whatever was leftover inside the pipe leading from the tank to the mop part. As expected when I plugged mine in there was already liquid from the previous user, even though the tank itself was dry. 2. Clean out the tank. Mine looked OK but had a lot of hard water stains from the previous user, so I scrubbed it out with a bottle cleaner and hot soap and water just to be careful. There was some weird white residue on the tank filter I couldn't remove but it seems harmless. 3. Wash the mop pads before you use them and inspect them. Again, mine looked clean but since it was a used unit being resold as new I didn't want to take any chances. Mine came with two installed and four additional ones which was quite nice. All that aside, it works well. It will not do a deep cleaning of your tile floor but it will do a good job scrubbing and disinfecting without you having to be on your hands and knees doing the same work. I don't know how well it is for big messes but it did a fine job with my floor and I'm pleased. It's a a real time saver. Because of the circular motion of the pads if something hard or abrasive gets stuck in the pad it will drag that along your floor repeatedly, potentially causing damage. So you need to do vacuum everything quite well first, and if you think anything is wrong while using the mop, turn it off and inspect the pads for anything sharp. That's really the only catch, other than that it's super easy to use. Note that the unit comes with two "Wood floor" trial sized bottles of cleaner so you may need to order a full size bottle of whatever you need in addition to the Spin Wave. Overall it's a great unit but I guess I have to warn that with any Bissell product, really check it and clean it first in case it was used. I wish Bissell products that are sold as new were actually new but there's a pretty clear pattern here. ... show more

  • Didn’t think I could love a mop!
Style: SpinWave, 20393
Wonderful mop, easy to use & moves with little effort, easy on my back, arms and hands. Cleans really well - it was shocking to see how dirty the floors were the first couple of times I used it! The white cleaning pads don’t lie. The photo shows one of the used mop pads next to a clean one - just 2 days after last mopping. I can feel how clean the floor is! Highly recommend. ... show more
