Too translucent to use by itself, but works well enough as a liner. I took a regular shower and it seemed to block water fairly well overall - a few drops made it through and onto the edge of the tub, but nothing major. It is water resistant, as advertised, not waterproof. I do think the water beaded up on it in a very pretty way, which is what I tried to include in my pictures. ... show more
