I love the product. It is super cute! I purchased these for my 10 year old daughter's birthday. We are both self proclaimed crazy cat ladies. I took off one star because of 2 minor issues. The pom poms on all of the party hats were bent. I don't know if this happened prior to shipment, or if it occurred during shipping. It was just a bummer. I also disliked the fact that it wasn't ready to hang. It came with a ribbon and plastic sewing needle. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to assemble to hang. I assembled it the night before, so not a big deal to me, but to others, every minute counts when setting up for a party and guests are arriving. ... show more

I didn’t use this as an actual banner, I cut the individual cats apart and used them with ribbon to hang onto doorknobs, tree branches, etc. I wanted individual cat pictures to hang from different places and to tape on the back of a sign. These were a hit at my cat-loving-daughter's birthday. the cats come individually and you lace them on the ribbon yourself so that you can put them in whichever order you prefer. If you are thinking about getting this for a cat lovers birthday, do it! I've bought one for a coworker who absolutely loved them. Easy to put up. Also for my family. We love them so much we unstrung them and put them on the bedroom door of whoevers birthday it is and they stay there until the next birthday. I purchased this product to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. She loved it and got a lot of compliments on it. The ribbon it comes with was nice and long, but it frayed at the edge and it made it difficult to string together a bit, but we just cut it off every time it got frayed too much, which worked. It went together fast. The cats look cuter when they are closer together, so we ended up with a lot of excess ribbon.
