I love the portability of this small battery backup from Biolite, and it significantly increases the light output on my Biolite headlamp 750 using the passthrough charging port after the unit starts to dim. The charging LEDs seem to show full charge up to 70%, but the unit starts to dim when not in constant output mode. This small 6,500 mAh battery fits in my jacket pocket and changes the equation. The second time around, it charged, but when I went to use it only a few days later, it was completely dead, leaving me stranded on a five day backpacking trip without any source of power.
