To start off I am not paid to review any products, but this is truly my favorite hair product I own. After jumping around between a few stylists, I noticed they all use this specific curling iron, so as I’ve been trying to be more consistent with styling my hair, I got one. I believe the heating on this model is consistent (this is a problem I’ve had with a few other brands I’ve tried) and my curls come out very smooth looking. Again this is all going to depend on how you curl your hair or the products you use in it, but I find that my hair almost glides around the barrel through the clip, and the longer barrel allows me to fit almost all my hair around it in one go allowing me to get those big curls all the way up to the roots. I genuinely do not go anywhere without it. Vacation: it’s packed. Staying at a friends for a weekend out of town: packed-and I’m doing everyone else’s curls with it too. I even brought this in the car with me so I could do my hair at the venue for a show because it’s so easy and fast to get the perfect looking “salon” curls. I would rate it 1000 stars if I could. I have purchased many hair tools and this one is the best one I have found. The barrel is very long which gives you a lot of room to work with if you have long hair. It's smooth and not tugging or pulling when I clamp my hair around it. It does get a little steamy on the highest setting, so you DEFINITELY want to use a heat protecting spray before using it.
