To start off I am not paid to review any products, but this is truly my favorite hair product I own. After jumping around between a few stylists, I noticed they all use this specific curling iron, so as I’ve been trying to be more consistent with styling my hair, I got one. I believe the heating on this model is consistent (this is a problem I’ve had with a few other brands I’ve tried) and my curls come out very smooth looking. Again this is all going to depend on how you curl your hair or the products you use in it, but I find that my hair almost glides around the barrel through the clip, and the longer barrel allows me to fit almost all my hair around it in one go allowing me to get those big curls all the way up to the roots. I genuinely do not go anywhere without it. Vacation: it’s packed. Staying at a friends for a weekend out of town: packed-and I’m doing everyone else’s curls with it too. I even brought this in the car with me so I could do my hair at the venue for a show because it’s so easy and fast to get the perfect looking “salon” curls. I would rate it 1000 stars if I could. This curling iron was very scary once opening the box to see how lengthy this tool was but it’s a game changer. I purchased the 1” by mistake but I took pictures at different hour marks to show how the curl lasts. None of the curls were touched up for the pictures. I do constantly press buttons when curling my hair, but the lock button helps with not changing the heat setting. Design is great. It’s easy to hold and the top of the curling iron has an area to place your fingers to help with curling. This product works so great! Worth the money spent! As a former hairstylist I am super picky about my hair tools. I got this in 1 inch as well as the T3 to compare them and I much prefer this one. My hair is day 4 or so and living on dry shampoo in this picture so I know it will be even better on fresh hair. The clamp and barrel glide over my hair effortlessly (T3 kept snagging my hair) and creates lots of shine. I like how I can lock in the temp and not worry about it shifting as I go.
